I am hooked and it’s pretty amazing how much drama has drummed up after just a couple of days. We’ve already had one relationship fall to pieces with tears and some of the girls are already cat fighting.
haha I’m regretting not going to Spain now on my Europe trip. I would have loved to have seen the villa, even from a distance. It would be worth the trip just to get a glimpse of Grant, even if he is a dick

Don’t people get sick of the contrived drama of these reality shows? Doesn’t it feel like you’re watching the same show over and over again with slight variations?

We know they’re trying to raise their profile and launch their careers by being on this show. The fun of the show is seeing how low they’ll go for attention.
But doesn’t there come a point where you say I’ve seen this a million times before on Big Brother, I’m A Celebrity, Survivor, The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Bachelor In Paradise, Beauty and the Geek, Playing it Straight? Not to mention Jersey Shore, Geordie Shore, The Hills, The Only Way Is Essex, Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules,?
After nearly 20 years of these types of shows, how can it still be interesting?
This is my first real foray into commercial tv smut and soft core porn, so it’s new to me. Only other reality I watch is the comparably tame MasterChef.
I thought I would watch one episode and turn it off but for some reason I want to watch more. I don’t like admitting that because it is pure trash.

I was the same. I have somehow been lured right in. I think because it reminds me of Big Brother but a little trashier which makes it more compelling. The MA rating means we get to see and hear a bit more too. I’m going to have to download some of the eps to watch on flights and stuff when I’m overseas.
Yep it’s pure trash but I’m enjoying it. On a side note how good is Eoghan McDermott as the narrator? Some of his stuff is absolutely hilarious and works perfectly for a show like this.
Like Dave Lamb who narrates “Come Dine With Me” UK. That’s what makes the show.

Having avoided LIA for the past week, I just watched five minutes of this and feel like my IQ has dropped 50 points as a result.
So it looks like a girl is going tonight based on the public vote? Won’t that level up the numbers? I guess more contestants must be coming in later in the week. I voted to save Erin. I think she is hilarious and at least her and Eden seem a genuine couple unlike everyone else.
Also really hate Tayla and hope that she goes. The way her and Grant are parading around is disgusting. They have zero respect for Cassidy, Josh or anyone really. Literally the second they coupled up Grant was holding her like he owned her. What a tool. Although given she’s had heaps of airtime I think she will stay and someone like Kim or Natasha will go.
Grant is such a tool. I haven’t voted. But I would like to see Tayla go just to see Grant squirm.
I just can’t believe Charlie got eliminated.
