Liberal Leadership Spill - Coverage Discussion

Not really watching it as I am at work but Ten seem to have mobilised some good coverage with a slew of reporters. Their panel is too right wing.

Josh Frydenberg has been voted in as deputy Liberal Leader.

Been watching the Seven coverage during the spill Usher and Riley.

Was watching ABC before that as I mentioned.

Nine, Ten and SBS coverage was flicked to but didn’t do much for me.

IMO Angela Bishop, who is not known for Rolling Coverage, is doing a superb job leading the coverage.

Smoke signals or carrier pigeon may also be an option.

Another useless countdown clock

Looks like it is missing SBS

Time for Jayne to have a party (Azzopardi, hope you all get it)

That was embarrassing the PM asking for questions from selected journalists and when he came to Chris Uhlmann he is MIA.

Chris Uhlmann couldn’t be bothered turning up to Malcolm Turnbull’s press conference so he missed out on his chance of asking a question.

Interesting shot of Government House with school children on an excursion

What are the networks, inparticular 10 going to do about the rolling coverage given they have a bulletin in 90 minutes time… Their set is still occupied by Studio 10 and could well be until 4.30pm at this rate.

Ten will throw to Hugh Riminton in Canberra I reckon to start a national bulletin and then switch feeds.
