They did as a transitional measure to keep their audience from shifting elsewhere as one of their replacements was still on air at the rival company and then had a gardening leave period until halfway through the year.

Jase is currently broadcasting from Central Coast, NSW for 2 weeks in an Airbnb with his family. They are quarantining there before going to QLD to visit his ill father.

Meanwhile, eight days left in the month and still no news about PJ’s replacement. I don’t listen to every minute of the show, but I don’t believe there’s anything on air about it at all.

I’d imagine so. Survey break starts at the end of this week, and it appears they’ll be taking leave since Jase is I his second week in NSW quarantining to enter Qld.

I think its a mistake that they haven’t introduced the replacement yet.
Unless they are that well known to Melbourne along the likes of Kate Langbroek(just an example), I think they should be starting to get them familiar with the existing Jase and PJ listeners

Nothing mentioned as Jase and Pj closed the show today. Just “we’ll see you in a couple of weeks”

I reckon you’re right. Doesn’t add up. Will go the similar way Hughesy and Kate went when they were axed from KIIS.
Even the show’s private FB group has been oddly silent today. No goodbye posts for PJ.
