Rent paid for a year in a new house, 15k of new furniture, whitewash, 5k of groceries, Gold Coast holiday, 20k cash for savings, 10k towards a wedding for the daughter currently battling cancer.
Have to admit even I got a little misty eyed

I’ve noticed this morning that KIIS Melbourne are calling themselves “Melbourne’s #1 hit music station”. I didn’t even think that they won the last survey?

They’re last out of the three “CHR” stations, but the argument there is whether Fox and Nova are still CHR formats.

I’m sure Fox used that positioner even when they’d slipped behind Nova at points, if I’m not mistaken.

The guy doing KIIS weekdays in Melbourne screams all his breaks, it’s so off putting. The music mix is weird too #1 hit music station with Spice Girls? Pick a lane if you want to be the hit station.

This is an old tactic that SCA used to use. It’s deliberately vague because technically there’s no “hit music” category, it’s not false, but also they play #1 hits, so they are a ‘#1 hit’ music station.

I am a bit late to party on Perth Radio, so is 96FM part of Pure Gold or is it KISS. As they use the KISS logo not the pure gold logo. Do they have their own log?

Yes, 96FM has their own log. It is part of the KIIS Network, but sounds a little bit more like a Pure Gold station.
