Craig Bruce said of the subpoena that any witness or documents obtained are likely to be used for the ARN case involving Kyle Sandilands. In Jackie’s own case they can directly request documents, but can’t in the other, as she is not a party, hence they need the court to issue a subpoena.
The documents would include text messages, emails, medical reports, contracts, diary notes, internal memos and the like from and to not just Jackie and Kyle but also Gemma, Duncan Campbell, Derek Bargwanna and others that Jackie was in contact with on a regular basis.
KIIS 97.3 seem to be live and local all day today, is that normal? And they’re actually playing decent music! A mix of old and new. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve listened to more than one song in a row on 97.3 but I found myself listening to 3 or 4 songs in a row driving around this afternoon. They even played Don’t Look Back In Anger by Oasis - had to double check what station I was on. If they can run this format 24/7 they could really be successful again in Brisbane.
I’d put Ben & Liam back in Melbourne brekkie on KIIS1011, Mike E in Sydney (until Kris Fade arrives in 2027 - my prediction), and convert Adelaide & Brisbane to GOLD102.3 and GOLD97.3.

Yes, and they’re boldly innovating on the classic format by recording the sound of station staff members taking a shit. Audience members can win money by matching the sound to the person correctly. It’s called the Splash for Cash

I’m surprised he’s agreed to a deal, especially one that prevents him from doing radio. Perhaps his lawyers thought they didn’t have much of a chance of winning.
