IMO KIIS don’t have a lot of options if they were to let KJO go or KJO pulled the pin. It would most likely be Will and Woody, or Smallzy for Breakfast, and they would have to be networked into Melbourne too.
Without KJO KIIS would probably rate between Nova and 2day. So they are dammed if they do and dammed if they don’t. Either Struggle to afford to pay their contracts or without them become a ratings basket case like it in the Mix 106.5 days.
I am not a solicitor and don’t understand contracts but if either party was to rescind the contract. Would it mean KJO go on gardening leave until the contract expires and prevents them from joining any other network?
