The deal means that Disney+ subscribers in the country can now access CazéTV’s content at no additional cost, including live sports broadcasts.
Among them is the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, which CazéTV will stream after striking a deal with sports streamer DAZN, the rights holder.
Other competitions that will now be available on Disney+ in Brazil include the Conmebol Libertadores Femenina, the UEFA Women’s Europa League, the UEFA Europa League, the UEFA Conference League, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1.
Super Netball will be shown in over 65 new countries including USA, under a new deal between Netball Australia and Whoopi Goldberg’s All Women’s Sports Network.
Doesn’t affect Australia as it’s on beIN Sports
The worst decision possible in sports broadcasting history.
Now the only way to avoid ads is the multiview stream, but that does not have normal graphics.
We have lived long enough, apparently, to see the UK’s Tour coverage going from free-to-air ITV, to £6.99/month Eurosport, to £30.99/month TNT Sports, to £30.99/month TNT Sports with ads.
By this point next year, that country’s Tour viewership could consist of 90% using illegal means. You may find it ridiculous now, but just wait.
Not sure which thread this can go in, but here’s the broadcast lineup for upcoming tournaments in North America’s “summer of tennis” this year. All times U.S. Eastern.

Poor treatment for the woman. No free to air coverage for the final.
ABC has NCAAFB commitments that day.
They only put the mens to FTA last year.
Interesting move. Here in Australia it’s on plain old SBS without 4K UHD coverage.
LONDON / NEW YORK – The National Hockey League (NHL) and DAZN today announced a multi-year strategic partnership which will see DAZN become the exclusive home of NHL.TV in nearly 200 countries beginning with the 2025-26 season.

Steve McArdle, NHL Chief Operating Officer, said “The NHL is a global League, and with 30 percent of our Players born outside of North America, engaging our international fans is a significant priority. Media distribution is at the core of our global strategy, and we are thrilled to partner with DAZN to continue to expand our global reach and engage with our fast-growing international fan base. Our shared commitment to innovation, gold standard technology and providing an exceptional content delivery service will allow us to deliver NHL content to hockey fans around the world on the platforms they prefer.”
- Select live games in certain countries will be blacked out but made available on demand following the conclusion of the game. The list of countries where NHL.TV is currently available is located at nhl.com/nhltvcountries and is subject to change.
NHL is with Disney+ and I wonder if it’ll affect it. It was a game-changer when Disney+ launched ESPN on its DTC service earlier this year without the need of its app which has shut down
It will most definitely affect it. Essential DAZN taking over as the league pass provider.
ITV and BBC will share coverage of 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup for UK viewers.
Thats terrible news
