In 2021, Insight will continue to be Australia’s leading forum for powerful first-person stories and debate. As announced, journalist Kumi Taguchi will host the program and explore a wide range of topics this season including adult ADHD, favourite children and class actions among many others.

Adult ADHD

In Kumi Taguchi’s first episode as host, Insight asks the question - what’s it like to get to your fifties and find out you’ve got ADHD? A range of adults from their twenties to fifties share with Insight what it was like to get that diagnosis, how things about their past fell into place and how they used the diagnosis to change their lives for the better. They are joined by family who share the impact on them.

Kumi’s first show as Insight host is also the last one for producer Raveen Hunjan, who is now working at the ABC.

EDIT 17/3: According to Mediaweek, Kumi has already filmed five episodes of the season including last night’s season premiere.

They will be joined by a group of people who are working to reduce the high rates of First Nations in the criminal justice system and will discuss key solutions to address this serious issue.

The new season starts on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

On the program, Ms Ree explained how her husband took the advice of The Barefoot Investor, also known as Scott Pape, to the extreme, insisting both their salaries go into a single account and they each get a strict $100 allowance after expenses.

She claimed her husband had become obsessed and financially controlling after buying his book and his newly adopted habits ultimately ruined her marriage.

Several viewers pointed out the show failed to mention an important detail during Ms Ree’s outburst - namely that she held a prominent position at a rival publisher.

Mr Pape’s books have been published by Harper Collins and Wiley, while Ms Ree is the head of marketing at Pan MacMillan.

She is also the author of a memoir and cookbook titled Heartbake, which explores how she rebuilt her life following the collapse of her marriage through her love of baking.

The show returns in March 2024 with new episodes.

New topics, new discussions, new stories… and a fresh new set.

I thought this forum was obsessed with new sets. Clearly not… :stuck_out_tongue:

But seriously, i am glad this is returning. I may not watch it every week, but watch a good chunk per season. Usually a few interesting topics and guests.

I wonder if SBS has to blur the officer’s face or just show the back of his head when he speaks, due to a current suppression order he is fighting against. As I posted in the Lindt Cafe siege thread last December:
