David Speers will be back in Canberra, and will be joined by Paul Sakkal (The Age and SMH federal political correspondent), Clare Armstrong (National Political Editor - Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, Courier Mail, The Advertiser), and Phil Coorey (Political Editor for the Australian Financial Review).

Speers will be interviewing Sarah Hanson-Young (Greens Senator)

Anthony Albanese will again be special guest, two weeks after he appeared in the APEC episode.

David Speers joins Samantha Maiden, David Crowe and Karen Middleton to cover a busy last sitting week with 45 pieces of legislation passed, Simon Birmingham to retire and 2024’s absurd and hilarious political moments.

Instead of decorating the set, Insiders went for Christmas clip art this morning.
