Ok, for saving their viewing, it’s VAST 2.0 and Optus Aurora 3.0 minus the local news, info channel, tuning channel and christian channels.
No IMP Wide World of Sports logo on Cross Court today (Imparja South) did they just forget to overlay it?

In the wake of the latest developments in Newcastle and Northern NSW I am wondering if the owner of WIN, Bruce Gordon would put his hands up and express interest in 9 Darwin and imparja Television and the Northern Territory market?
I doubt it. Imparja is community-owned and heavily propped up by government funding and that funding would probably cease if Imparja becomes commercially-owned by WIN. And I doubt WIN would make any money from it.

Agreed unlikely to happen given there is no money on regional stations, particularly the remote ones - hence why 10 Midura closed
Imparja is legally registered as a charity, and as TelevisionAU mentioned any grant funding would be contingent on them having charity status, which isn’t legally possible if they were owned by WIN.

I know I’m talking about news and it should be one of the news threads. Hmm given that Imparja already does playout at mediahub where WIN also do playouts. Could imparja make WIN do the news updates for them or is it impossible or forbidden? But then cost is a factor given that imparja will have to pay WIN to produce the news updates?
I don’t see how it could be forbidden - only issue I can imagine is if Imparja is willing to give them the $$$ to do it.
Sometime back when 9 news Darwin used to exist imparja put it on the GEM channel? Correct? I’m just curious on what WIN and imparja would do regarding the future of news updates?
