Probably because Imparja is the last affiliate to air Nine with its own watermark… Why even bother at that point.

Apparently there is a technical reason they’ve ceased the clean feed. One would hope Imparja renegotiated their affiliation now that they can’t promote solely their brand during programs.
Unless they get a cover up produced, assuming that would not affect the affiliation contract.
Surprised they don’t just plonk the Imparja text on top

I saw that they did that with Nine News last night.
SCTV had a clean feed from Seven until 2018 and they didn’t have their own supers.

Could it open the door for the nine network through Darwin based Territory television ltd or WIN to purchase imparja television sometime in the future?
Which may raise suspicion that either WIN or the nine network might eventually purchase imparja. The owners of imparja might be looking to sell the network to either nine or win. And maybe 7 might buy the SCA stations in Darwin and central with SCA owning the JV in its own outright. Maybe.
That’s assuming SCA want to hang on to their TV interests. They sold off NRN to WIN (leaving an anomaly now WIN are back with Nine). They may be looking to slowly reduce the TV stations they own.
What if the sponsors are different in country areas though? How common is it for a program to have the same sponsor in all markets?
Interestingly, the IMP watermark remains on news programming but not normal ones. I am surprised Imparja wouldn’t put the IMP watermark at the top of the screen like it is in this cap.
The quality also looks better than WIN SD, and is also a few seconds ahead of WIN, despite WIN and Imparja coming from MediaHub.

Interesting. Perhaps they forgot to remove the top-right version of the IMP watermark from their Viz? I wonder if they removed the WWOS version? I hope so.
In any case, any inconsistencies that exist today will remain for years to come if history is any indicator.
