How do you people not know who Tiffany is? I think a lot of age demo secrets have just been revealed.

Tomic and Mundine - fuck that

The casting this year is looking particularly dire (at least in terms of the contestants “fame”), I know I won’t be watching much Celeb this year.

I think they are saving the real big ones for the nezt few nights.

Welcome Back To The Jungle.

Nine Celebrities Revealed In The Premiere Of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!.

The wait is finally over: the identity of the celebrities who have surrendered life’s luxuries for a unique experience in the depths of the South African jungle has been revealed, live in the premiere of season four of Network Ten’s hit family entertainment sensation I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

The nine celebrities competing for the coveted title of King or Queen Of The Jungle under the watchful eyes of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! hosts Julia Morris and Dr Chris Brown are:

Bernard Tomic: World famous tennis player.
Fiona O’Loughlin: Queen of comedy.
Jackie Gillies: Television personality and psychic medium.
Josh Gibson: AFL champion.
Kerry Armstrong: Leading Australian actor.
Peter Rowsthorn: Iconic comedian and actor.
Shannon Noll: Australian rocker.
Simone Holtznagel: Model and reality television star
Tiffany Darwish: American singer and songwriter.

Divided into three groups of three, the celebrities said one final goodbye to their privileged lives before being plunged literally head-first into one of the world’s wildest terrains.

Three brave celebrities faced their fears and jumped from a great height into fast-rushing, shark-infested waters beneath, while the next three faced a gorge swing of terrifying proportions. The final three celebrities mustered up the courage to skydive over the home of the most dangerous animals in Africa, before landing in the wild and meeting up with their fellow campmates.

With their first epic challenge complete, these nine celebrities have a taste of what is in store as they prepare to make the African jungle their home. Tested mentally and physically, only one of them can be crowned King or Queen Of The Jungle. Will any reach their limit to yell I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here?! Get ready for a wild ride.

Didn’t think much of tonight’s premiere to be honest, there were a few LOL’s but I have personally preferred the casting from previous years as I’ve known more of the celebrities going in.

So we’ve still got:

  • 2 feuding celebrities
  • Loud mouth TV star
  • Best selling author

Someone has edited the Wikipedia page for the current season for fun, calling Tomic for “being a flog”.

For fun or for fact?

Mundine interviewed by Fairfax:

The pic looks like a stunt double for Mundine. Doesn’t look like him.

LOL at all the typical “I have barely heard of any of these celeb” comments. I can understand a lot of people might not know Jackie Gilles or Simone unless you watch Housewives or Top model… but if you don’t know who Tomic, Mundine, Shannon Noll, Kerry Armstong, Fiona O’loughlin or Peter Rosethorn are then you must be living under a rock. These are very well known household names and overall I think it’s one of the strongest celeb casts an Aussie show has had.

These shows also aren’t all about star power either but having an interesting mix of people. Often the least known celebrities (e.g. Keira one of the previous seasons) are the most entertaining.

I think we still have a couple more going in. Is it the author and one of the people at feud (I’m assuming another boxer feuding with Mundine)?

Pretty good numbers last night, beating the cricket on Channel Nine. Tonight’s 3 way battle will be interesting.

Only a small amount of the show was live so you think they’d be able to finish on time.

I’m sure Julia will need something to read when Chris Brown goes on about something to do with animals.
