I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

I would say definitely Ricki-Lee or Paulini, following the similar trend of past Idol contestants doing this show and being quite successful from it (Anthony and Casey).

I remember predicting Ricki-Lee in previous years doing this show, she is definitely the type of person that would do a show like this and needs it to boost her career a bit. She released a song last year that got a little bit of radio airplay but wasn’t a huge hit so she might have an album or something in the works that she wants to launch off the back of the show.

Paulini is a possibility too and could be wanting to fix her image a bit after a lot of bad publicity this year. I’m not sure what her performing schedule is like in the next year though.

I remember last year in the lead up to Celeb a few random articles popped up in the media about some of the contestants e.g. Casey being the uber driver. When I google Paulini’s name there are a couple of articles today interviewing Paulini about her rise and fall in places like the Daily Telegraph. Is this possibly a similar thing to keep her name relevant in the lead up to the show? The only article that comes up for Ricki Lee is that fans speculate she might be on the show.

I would much prefer Ricki-Lee to Paulini. I know Paulini could do with the positive publicity but I think it’s too soon after her recent court case. The article that came out today was just about her giving excuses for her bad behaviour.

News Limited papers are reporting (i.e. publicity leak) boxing rivals Anthony Mundine and Danny Green are in.

OoOoo casting gold if it is true. Mundine is sure to provide plenty of headlines.

As for the pop sensation, according to the Telegraph, Paulini is broke. Good indication she may have signed up for a jungle stint.

No thanks.

Just posted on their instagram, it starts once again on Sunday January 28 at the same time as the Mens Aus Open Final.

The following Thursday and Sunday will be interesting scheduling wise. Will they push back the Big Bash Semi to an 8:30 start on the Thursday? Bring forward the BIG Final to twilight on the Sunday? The Big Bash will be a good lead in/out for the show this year if this is the case.

I was hoping they were going to delay the launch a week, but I guess they don’t want to give the competition a head start.

Didn’t they announce it as 29 Jan initially? Did they change it or was that just speculation?

That’s what I thought too. I was thinking that it was going to be up against the first episode of MKR.

Historically they have always launched on Aus Open Final night. Will be interesting to see how they schedule the BBL finals, maybe screen them on ONE in some states?

Only way this could happen is if the game is played in Perth or Brisbane.

It was posted before that the second Sunday episode on February 4 will be after the BBL final, which will be a twilight game, unless it is held in Perth which means it will be an afternoon game.
The season premiere will be up against not only the tennis, but also the first ever one day cricket clash at Perth Stadium. It will be a tough fight.
As for the Thursday episode, it may be kept to one hour before crossing to the BBL semi final. I think the first session should be on One before moving to Ten, to suit the schedule.

Good Lord, if Celebrity takes precedent over Big Finals in the Big Bash League in most states. No way will the BBL start at 8.30 or even close to 9 they way Ten goes about their schedule on Thursdays with Celebrity. Show should be rested for that night. It would’ve been better after the Big Bash Final live into all states bar WA.

I think big bash will be a twilight game anyway.

Got to be either Kathy Lette or Ros Reines.

I was thinking trashy American bio writer Kitty Kelley but she is 75!
