I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

I think the guessing game promos are the best way to hype up the show. However they usually end up revealing 2 or 3 of the names going in on the weekend of the premiere. I think that’s the right balance, hype up some names just before it airs but keep most of it as a surprise.

If you are going down the path of Tommy Little - he literally has show’s scheduled throughout Jan that tickets are still on sale for. He also posted about the rumours on his Instagram. I would find it odd that someone actually going in the jungle would post about not going in and also still be promoting tickets comedy shows over that period.

No Chris, not Tommy Little, someone who was on The Project way before Tommy… the bin chicken man!

He worked with Mel B on Masked Singer

Rove McManus anyone?

Hey maybe Rove can pitch a new chat/variety show with his new Jungle buddies?

SO SO as in average.
Or so, so good as in very, very good.

That basically confirms Raygun I’d guess by the emojis unless it’s Jess Fox or something but Nine seem to use her for the AO coverage.

Looks like we can expect another luxury bed in the jungle this season.

Matty J locked in as first contestant

The announcement was made on the latest episode of Life Uncut podcast, with Matty’s wife Laura Byrne and EP Keeshia Pettit.

Co-host Brittany Hockley (who competed last year) responded:

At first I wasn’t really that thrilled by the news that he was going in, but the more I think about it… he’s a entertaining guy. Should be good to watch!

Matty J must be for the romantic leading man clue.

Can Matty Put The J Into Jungle?

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Premieres Sunday, 19 January At 7.00pm On 10 And 10 Play.

If he thought the cocktail parties at the mansion were wild, wait until he’s tasked with dunny duty after an eating trial.

Our very first celebrity for 2025 has been revealed and it’s none other than our leading man, Matty Johnson, aka Matty J!

Matty’s journey to celebrity status began back in 2017 when he handed out roses on The Bachelor and, spoiler alert, found true love with Laura Byrne. Fast forward to now, they’ve got two kids, a three-legged dog, and are living happily ever after – but Matty’s about to experience a whole new kind of khaki chaos.

Matty J said: “When I’m an old man I hope to be at family gatherings with the grandkids begging for another story of how I was able to survive in the African Jungle for months by fighting off wild baboons and eating boar anus.”

Matty J has come a long way since The Bachelor… and it just keeps going all the way to South Africa. Having spent the last few years working across television in both presenter and contestant capacities, it’s Matty’s parenting related antics on social media that has earned him a loyal following and the title of the country’s Best Creator on Instagram at the inaugural AiMCO Awards. Alongside his good mate Ash Wicks, Matty J’s uber popular podcast Two Doting Dads, has also managed to turn dad bods into the hottest accessory and made parenting fails funny.

Matty and Laura may have found true love on TV, but he’s about to meet his one spew love when he comes face to face with the trials Robert Irwin and Julia Morris have prepared for his arrival.

Want to know who’ll be joining Matty J in the capital J-ungle? All will be revealed very soon!

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Premieres Sunday, 19 January At 7pm On 10 And 10 Play.

So much for keeping the contestants secret until the launch. :joy:

They’ve done this every year for the last few years? Nothing new.

This is no different to at least the last few seasons where they have released 3-4 names before the launch.

I know that, guys.

I was aiming that comment at those who complained a few days ago that they dropped clues that made guessing the contestants too obvious.
