You can thank Anthony, Jo Beth & co. More they bitch about Laurina, more support they garner for her. If they’d just gone along with her antics she would have been booted eons ago.
He has definitely been very bitchy.
In terms of challenges, recall the way he snapped at people (and Dr Chris) during the four person eating tucker trial, or the way he snapped at Warnie during the mine shaft challenge. In terms of around camp, recall the way he treated Laurina on their wood runs, or the way he complained about Laurina during saltgate (she’s lethal…).
Ohhh well now you tell us
Yes. His treatment of Laurina in particular is the reason I think she has made it so far.
Huh? I definitely don’t know him well but but bumped into Anthony and Tim at a bar in London last year. We initially just said hello and went to get a photo but ended up having a drink with the guys until the bar shut! They were on holiday as well and were just as happy to have some other Aussie’s to chat too as we were. Just saying that from my personal interactions I find both very friendly/genuine people.
Anyway the last two night’s go to show how unpredictable this is. I would never have expected a final 3 without Anthony or Shane. Seems a bit of luck with who is going, and that the person who is doing the tucker trial or getting a lot of airtime each night then goes. There’s no real consistency in the voting with who is at risk and going each night either.
If Paul wins this… BORING. Sadly I think I’m hoping it’s Laurina now.`
Who Will Be Crowned King Or Queen Of The Jungle?
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!. Grand Finale.
Sunday At 6.30pm.
After six weeks living without life’s luxuries and adapting to an unplugged, no frills existence, the remaining three celebrities’ time in the jungle will come to an end this Sunday on TEN’s hit family entertainment show, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! when Brendan Fevola, Laurina Fleure or Paul Harragon will be crowned King or Queen of The Jungle.
Having taken part in stomach-churning Tucker Chewsdays and pushed their minds and bodies to the limits in terrifying trials, one celebrity will be left standing on Sunday night with $100,000 for their chosen charity.
But before there can be a winner, the final three celebrities must channel their innermost superhero and take part in the biggest and most daring trial of the series, Dam Busters.
Soaring sky-high along a zip line above the dam wall, each celebrity must drop a “dam buster” onto a floating star target below. Each direct hit will result in a camp meal.
Can Brendan, Laurina and Paul succeed in their final spectacular trial?
Plus, our final three celebrities are joined by their loved ones in a heart-warming reunion before the jungle coronation gets underway.
They should make one of those of Tim Bailey
Channel Ten’s Perth sports reporter Tim Gossage gave away tonight’s result during his call of the AFL pre-season match in Perth for Crocmedia radio. Remember the show has not aired in WA yet.
But social media commentary from the South Eastern States who get the show first probably would’ve spoiled the result for WA viewers anyway, right?
Once again the grand final was the worst episode of the season. 30mins in it seemed like they were already doing a highlights reel of the highlights reels.
due to work commitments I’d actually missed most of the series for the last couple of weeks so I’m probably in the minority but I enjoyed the finale, it was an opportunity to catch up on what I’d missed
It was far too drawn out. At least 30 mins too long. Showing Laurena everyone bitching about her as soon as she came out was poor. At least show her highlight reel first.
Nice of Fev to donate 50% to Paul’s charity. That’s $50000 that can’t be used on Warne’s legal fees.
Yes, I didn’t think that the Sharne Warne Foundation was a particularly good choice anyway…what with the adverse media coverage about poor management and that it was being closed down anyway.
That was good of Fev to do that, I very much doubt that he would have known who Mark Hughes was before going on this show.
Very pleased Brendan won. For once the right choice was made in a reality show. He was by far the most entertaining all the way through especially when he and Anthony were together. As for the remarks re: Anthony by “Seriously” calling him “A little bitchy gay boy” I am surprised this is allowed to be posted in this day and age! Wake up “Seriously” it’s 2016 not 1816! This stereotyping of people should not be allowed by those who monitor this forum! The only person on this show who was a “diva” was the non-celebrity Laurina and imo not entertaining at all… just bloody annoying!
Brendan was a good choice vs Paul, who didn’t do much besides be nice and was finally entertaining in the Tucker “Chewsday” trial. At least Brendan was entertaining throughout.
As for the gay comment, my bad. I am gay myself and see no problem with saying he fits that stereotype. He does! Obviously not all gays fit that stereotype, but it is a stereotype for a reason. If it makes you feel better, remove the word gay and it still describes him.
If anyone has a problem with any post, feel free to flag it for moderator’s attention.
Wrong. Jo-Beth and Anthony were widely disliked for their bitchy treatment of Laurina. That is why she outlasted both - even though she was a relative ‘unknown’ celeb compared with the other two.
It’s not stereotyping…it was exactly his personality…did you actually watch this series, or was the rest of Australia (that thought the same thing as me) watching something else?
In the end, Brendan was probably a deserving winner. Don’t think Paul was entertaining enough, though he does seem like a nice guy.
Agree. Jo-Beth was the surprise packet. I didn’t expect her to be a bitch but she certainly was. She did nothing but whinge. Anthony only started toning his bitchiness towards Laurina down once he figured out she was obviously popular with viewers. Laurina’s longevity can be solely put down to Jo-Beth & Anthony’s treatment of her - the more they bitched, the more her support grew.
Laurina was casting gold. Without her the season would have been like watching paint dry. Her lack of social skills and ability to push buttons made the show.
What a boring result. I didn’t even watch much of the finale I was that uninterested after Laurina left (who I didn’t particularly like, but at least she was entertaining!). Once again we had two sports stars as the final two, one of them who provided the least entertainment of pretty much anyone this season.

Must be boring people that watch this show and punish the interesting people.
