I can actually see Celebrity doing some damage tonight, both in raw numbers and potentially to Seven’s Idol live grand final especially and Married.
But with some of these good names floating around, I think it might’ve been better to get them out there early this year and drum up more publicity, even if many viewers only watch the launch or a few eps.

Nathan Buckley was on the show a few years back so he isn’t the first Pies legend to be in the jungle

Michael Hing not on The Project tonight. The hosts mentioned the fact he wasn’t there and then mentioned a special announcement later in the show. Seems suspicious. He must be going into the jungle?
2 hour first episode … seems like a long slog to try and sit for that long.

No way! Bring it on! There’s a lot to get through. 12ish celebrities going in. I think a 2hr launch is reasonable.

Probably just my short attention span and as I get older I simply can’t maintain 2 hours without getting distracted.
Also in the “coming up” previews Robert Irwin seem like a natural and at ease in the hosting role.

He’s an actual international comedian. Another good pick up.

Probably that annoying woman’s attempt at a joke. She’ll be so fucking annoying that the audience will keep adding her to the tasks.
