I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Her name was actually mentioned as a possibility for the current season. She would indeed be gold.

Finals Week Begins Tonight: One Celebrity Will Leave Every Night.

Finals week begins tonight on TEN’s hit family entertainment show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and one celebrity will be sent home every night this week.

After five weeks in the South African jungle with no electricity, no creature comforts and no contact with the outside world, one celebrity will be named King or Queen of the Jungle in next Sunday’s huge Finale.

But before we say goodbye to one more celebrity, Val Lehman must take part in the Tucker Trail, A Dam Shame, tonight.

Entering the dark and damp dam wall by crawling inside a large sewer pipe, Val is met by another five sewer pipes, all containing stars.

To win meals for the camp, she must enter each pipe in numerical order and untie the fastened star. But Val will not be alone in the chamber. Joining our fearless celebrity will be all matter of creepy crawlies, plus a leaking wall that is rapidly filling the chamber with water.

Will Val find all eight stars and bring a full dinner back to the camp?

Later, the camp says farewell to another celebrity as eight become seven tonight.

Then tomorrow night, one of the most recognisable and respected faces on Australian television, TEN Eyewitness News First At Five presenter Sandra Sully, will enter camp in What’s In The Box to deliver an update from back home to the news-hungry jungle bunch.

@anon17157706 Val did say at the start of the interview she was not feeling well after drinking champagne on a empty stomach, it was basically at the end of the interview anyway she said she was not feeling well and needed to sit down and just walked off set.

Bit of a stuffup coming off the break into the Live Camp Segment tonight…

Think Julia picked up on it going of her “Shit were live” face…

Angela Bishop mentioned this morning that Val did need medical attention after her eviction last night, of course she is doing well now.

Sandra Sully Brings The Celebrities Big News From Home.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Finals Week.

It is Finals Week on TEN’s hit family entertainment show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and the surprises are only just beginning.

After more than five long weeks away from the real world, the celebrities are desperate for some information from outside the jungle. Granting them their wish tonight is one of the most recognisable and respected faces on Australian television, TEN Eyewitness News First At Five presenter Sandra Sully.

The jungle bunch return to camp tonight to find a What’s In The Box surprise. When Sandra is revealed, the camp mates quickly realise they will soon get an update from home.

Sandra brings the celebrities international, Australian and family news. But there are two stories in particular that really have the camp talking.

When Sandra reveals that controversial US Presidential candidate Donald Trump looks set to take out the Republican spot for the upcoming election, the celebrities cannot believe their ears. And the news of AFL legend Garry Lyon’s alleged affair with the former wife of his Footy Show co-star and best friend, Billy Brownless, leaves sport stars Brendan Fevola, Shane Warne and Paul Harragon in shock.

Good to see them using the First At Five updated logo :smirk:

I’m sure Sandra is happy to have had a free trip to South Africa, but was that really necessary? Couldn’t she have delivered the news bulletin from a Sydney studio?

Sure she could have but that’s what she did for years on Big Brother. It’s a bonus to actually have her there and for the celebs to be able to interact with someone they will all recognise/know, unlike Wippa who only one or two of them had a clue who he was. It’s also good and cheap promotion for Ten News which is in desperate need of promotion.

a very strange selection of news storys made the final edit, the montague st overpass drama was only half reported (sandra only mentioned the bus, the main reason it was a story was because there were 4 separate crashes there in 7 days) nothing about George Pell.

I noticed that Sandra’s jungle bulletin got its own voice over for the news theme.

But she hardly interacted with them and wasn’t even allowed to stay for dinner. What did they achieve that they couldn’t with a prerecorded segment. I call “junket”.

Ten send her there but can barely afford to send reporters overseas. Priorities are all wrong.

Yeah agree. I thought it was strange mentioning the Montague st bridge bus crash and not the other 2 crashes. Maybe they showed a lot more news stories but only showed the snippets that got a reaction from the celebs. Still I’m surprised that they flew Sandra there for that tiny segment.

So far the boot order is going as I predicted. I reckon that Chief is a goner tonight (only not one of the “it might be you” people last night because he was there the night before). I think that Laurina and Anthony are the only ones that they’ve never said “it might be you” too at an elimination. I’m starting to think Laurina could be in the finale, she seems to have a lot of support on social media.

An ‘intruder’ was needed to give the celebs something to talk about. Sandra’s on Ten’s books so it would have cost an airfare.

I think she gave them plenty to talk about with the news bulletin. I think maybe an actual intruder, a few weeks back, as they did with the Irwins or Wippa would have been more interesting.

Problem with Wippa is people outside of Sydney don’t know him so he was nothing but 'a Mick Molloy lookalike who whinged a lot." At least with Sandra everyone knows her. Just doing a prerecorded update from Sydney would have been a direct rip off from Big Brother.

Personally I think they could have used her better. There was a great segment on IACNOW with Joel taking Sandra into the camp and having a chat. This should have been used on the main show rather than another long drawn out slap stick routine by Julia and Chris. One of biggest criticisms of this season is there has been too much focus on the hosts. This was highlighted last night.

We’re saying the same thing.

All the women getting voted off in a row makes you think that all the people watching and voting are 14 year old girls. #sausagefest :stuck_out_tongue:
