Those that sit around and say nothing, don’t do much, will be out. Also those who producers limit in the edit, will likely be forgotten about and also booted.
Next lot to probably go:
Deb
Nathan
Liz
Aesha
The likes of Woody, Cooney, Dom, Harry will make it to the end I reckon. Insert the others in between.
Deb and Nathan would definitely probably be on the chopping block soon. Possiby Dicko too - he’s getting airtime but not sure if a lot of people would vote for him. Aesha was probably a lesser known but she has been entertaining and getting airtime. So I think she might last a bit longer.
Sports people seem to do well but not sure about Liz. I thought she might be an early boot but maybe has some sporting/netball fanbase going for her. Who knows. Woody has his radio show pushing votes which will get him far.
Harry and Dom have been the standouts for me this season. So based on everything I’d like to see them get to the end.
The campmates breathed a sigh of relief tonight as no one was evicted. Still reeling from losing both Anna and Bianca, the celebs did their best to get on with the day to day of camp life without their jungle buddies.
In the spirit of keeping busy, a light was shone on Adam and Nathan’s bromance, Woody revealed his start in radio was all thanks to TV and radio legend Steve Vizard, Dicko gave Guy Sebastian a cheque for one million dollars and lookout for Liz at a polling booth near you in about 10 years’ time.
In the trial, it was motion sickness at its best in the aptly named Balls Of Steel. Thrown into a huge metal ball, both Adam and Aesha had to hang onto the stars (and their stomachs!) to gain stars for meals in camp.
Rocking up to camp with only five stars, Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins declared it was the worst news as he could eat like a pig in a dumpster. But instead, everyone had to make do with the serves they were given.
As the sun set on another day of jungle life, Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris revealed that tomorrow Nathan and Pete would be thrown into the deep end to compete in Yo Ho Ho and a Barrel of Celebrity.
Will our celebs get more food in their bellies, or will Nick end up eating the bum of a low flying duck? Tune in tomorrow to fine out!
The final task shown in tonight’s episode was a big product placement.
The celebrities received a late night jungle mail that two of them had to spend the night in a Room of Doom, and Dom and Nathan put their hands up, believing they would be surrounded by snakes and insects. When they arrived at the structure however, they discovered a luxurious bedroom, with a completely made up bed courtesy of Bedshed, with pillows, mattress etc. delivered by air from Australia. There were also two glass of champagne for Dom and Nathan to enjoy.
That’s complete rubbish. I actually had access to the voting data for TV shows like Australian Idol and Big Brother back in the 2000s. There never was any “rigging” of winners.
Usually, the voting results were obvious all week long. There were very few occasions when the voting was really close and it could have gone either way but this was rare. When they announced on television that it was close, it really was a matter of a few hundred votes.
I think there were only a couple of times (which involved Big Brother) when the result was a shock. I think the surge in voting was based on something that had screened in that night’s episode and there was a change of the result in the last hour of voting.
But I had seen timeline data of voting every week and it was always legit. There was a lot of security involved in not letting the public know the results until it screened on television.
Makes no difference. There are outside companies involved in collecting the data and reporting it to Seven. If Seven tried to ignore the number of votes and claim somebody else had won there would be legal ramifications for the companies involved.
The network could try and encourage viewers to vote a certain way but I don’t think they would risk doing something illegal and declare a different contestant as the winner.
Adam, Liz And Nick Head Into Tomorrow Night’s Trial.
Another eviction free day for our celeb campmates and yes, we are lulling them into a false sense of security!
Spending every waking (and sleeping) moment together, deep conversations are a stalwart of passing the time in camp. Dicko’s realisation that he was in fact old at 60 got Liz good as she shed a tear talking about his wife, Aesha revealed what it’s really like Below Deck, Pete and Nick discussed their careers, Adam felt the AFL took away the prime of his life and Harry’s deep thoughts literally broke everyone’s brain.
The trial was a shock-a-thon and that wasn’t just the pirate accents or outfits. Both Nathan and Pete were given electric shocks to score stars, walking away with eight meals for camp in total.
But the biggest scandal of the night was buttergate. Returning from the Room Of Doom, Dom and Nathan came bearing gifts for their campmates: coffee, tea, sugar, croissants but best of all, butter. When it camp to dinner time, the celebs searched high and low for their flavoursome friend but came up empty handed.
With accusations running well into the night, no one was off the hook. Will the celebs ever get to the bottom of what happened or will their hopes of finding the culprit melt away?
Tomorrow night Adam, Liz and Nick enter the Read It And Weep food trial and we sadly lose another celeb.
