I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Ah! So Beau Ryan will be on that. Who else has been missing on social media?

I’m expecting to see a soccer player too so they can cross promote the soccer coverage

I was also surprised it was filmed early and without any leaks.

Colombaris will probably pop up on it too. Imagine if they did get Pete Evans this time but no one found out till it aired. Which prominent comedians are missing from Hybpa? Where is Danny from BB?

Daniel from Big Brother is in quarantine having filmed BB VIP. How he is a VIP?

You obviously haven’t grasped what’s classed as “celebrity” in Australia… it doesn’t take much.

People get so caught up with the celebrity in the title. There is no question Danny is would classed a VIP in the big brother world. Get over it, move on.

It doesn’t differ much from the US and UK.

Lori Loughlin’s daughter in America is on Dancing with the Stars and Gordon Ramsay’s daughter was on Strictly Come Dancing in Britain.

The COVID-19 case that sparked the lockdown on NSW’s North Coast was a member of a film crew attached to reality show I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!

“This discovery was made through the rigorous testing regime implemented by our COVID-safe plan,” an ITV Studios Australia spokesperson said in a statement.

“The crew member is fully vaccinated and was wearing PPE while at work.”

The production spokesperson said all close contacts of the crew member had been identified and were isolating while they awaited their test results.

Is also on Australian Masterchef coming up

At this morning’s COVID press conference, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said the female crew member that sparked the lockdown of Byron and Tweed LGAs had now been charged for breaching the public health order.
Berejiklian said the worker was only given permission to work but instead visited several venues in the surrounding areas.

Mumbrella adds:

Mumbrella understands the crew member was fully vaccinated and had not been working on the set or in the studio. As a result, the ongoing production of the program will not be impacted by the positive case.

Well I called it.

Interesting quote about just getting scraps this season lol

Seven in Brisbane went hard on the I’m A Celebrity show tonight, somehow also merging their report on the crew member with a separate report about exemptions being given to celebrities to enter Queensland. It made it seem that that was associated with what happened in this case; despite the show being recorded in NSW and not involving a “celebrity”.

A well-placed insider claims ‘an AFL legend’ and ‘a very controversial reality star from Big Brother or Married At First Sight’ are set to appear on the show. But despite Channel 10’s best efforts to secure top local talent, the source told Daily Mail Australia viewers will likely be ‘disappointed’ by the line-up. ‘They’re all scraps,’ they said. ‘It was a bunch of people I had never seen in my life.’

You could write these lines about pretty much any season of Im a Celeb so far right? :joy:

Surely by now we should know to expect B, C & D grade “celebrities” on this show? It’s not as if we’ll ever see the likes of Hugh Jackman or Nicole Kidman in the jungle!

As for the possibility of Beau Ryan being in next year’s season, I’m only surprised it’s taken this long for him to make an appearance.

The audacity is astounding, after all the drama Seven caused with their Big Brother VIP fly ins.

There’s only so many celebrities in this country, there would be more seasons of celebrity shows than actual celebrities in Australia so you’re stupid to expect an A-lister to walk in, especially for a show like this.

Hopefully it does well again for 10, though.

A 31-year-old TV show worker has been charged with six offences after allegedly breaching the restrictions of the Covid exemption she had been granted to travel to northern NSW.

And you can catch them on the 2022 season as one of the celebrities!

A Murwillumbah bus driver had crew members from I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here when he crashed into a police car while drink driving, a court has heard.

According to court papers, Whittaker was hired by a television production company to transport cast and crew from Dungay Creek to their accommodation in Tweed Heads.

Driving a Mitsubishi Rosabus, Whittaker left the set at 11pm on September 8 and began travelling towards the Mantra Hotel in Tweed Heads.

He crashed into an unoccupied parked police car outside the Wharf Street police station about 11.40pm.
