I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

That’s the whole point of this show though. It is supposed to be stupid humour where the viewers don’t need to think too hard.

Geez tough crowd.

I have found this year’s season highly entertaining and Julie and Dr Chris is a huge part of what makes it work. I love their humour. It just wouldn’t be the same without them.

This show is the perfect antidote to a rather gloomy Australia at the moment. People have always turned to light entertainment in times like these and the producers have given us an extremely fun show to watch.

I don’t think I’m being too tough at all. It’s my opinion and I think Julia especially is very juvenile and is rather irritating. Like I said, it’s only this year where she has seemed to of crossed the line between funny and irritating.

Comedy is subjective and she’s just not funny anymore.

I think they’ve been the same from the start. If anything, they’ve honed their skills over time so that their timing is almost always perfect.

If people don’t like it, they should just learn to use their remotes.

She’s just not funny to YOU anymore. I think she’s funnier than ever. A rare breed who specialises in old-school vaudeville and Dr Chris Brown is likewise a massive talent.

Agree. I don’t notice them being much different to other years and I do find them quite funny at times. They are a good pairing and I enjoy them as the hosts.

In the past Julia used to be more flirty with the males, which I found a bit off putting. Times have changed, and fortunately so has she. Chris is a brilliant straight man though.

Especially Chris, he never used to be this over the top.

He can’t play the innocent deer in the headlights forever. Julia has well and truly broken him into the world of vaudeville.

This is my first and probably only season I will watch of this show. I did like the mixture of celebrities. The only one I didn’t really know of was Nikki.

I agree that the hosting is over the top. I don’t like Chris Brown hosting in my opinion he is not a massive talent when it comes to entertainment gigs, comes across off as a rude and

Do we have confirmation of finale date? Surely not up against the Aus Open final. I’m predicting Ten will try and get a couple extra episodes out of the last weekend of filming and have a delayed finale like last year. Although not sure how they’ll do that with Survivor starting.

Season final is on 2 February with Survivor staring on Monday 3 Feb.

It’s also only a one hour finale from what I can see.

I don’t think the finale will be just one hour long.

That’s what it’s scheduled for with Graham Norton at 8:30pm.

Yeah I can’t see that happening. There will be 4 remaining at the end of this week so 2 eliminations, a winner announcement plus weekend footage in 60 mins? Unless we get double eliminations but they can barely stick to 90 mins in a normal ep.

I think it’s stupid to put it up against Aus Open final. It won’t rate as well as it could. Monday night would have been smarter for the finale. It might have pulled some viewers from MAFS premiere and then those viewers would be more likely to watch Survivor over MAFS on Tues having missed the premiere.

Its a double on Thursday leaving 3 for the finale.

Perez departure seemed a little ‘pre planned’ in my view. He was itching to get out.

He was a waste of a contestant.

That was so rude how he left. Quite disgusting behaviour.

Nobody seemed the slightest bit taken back when he left as he did, I think he might have asked to get out of there as nobody seems to give two shits about him.

God help us how much $$ Ten threw at him. I don’t think they can use him elsewhere on the network if that was the plan, certainly did not fire or resonate with the viewers.
