News Corp says eight teams will compete in High Stakes season. Teams so far revealed are:
Laith and George
Lenore and Bradley
Carly and Andrew
Kimmy and Rhi
Tamara and Rhys
Promos now saying “this April”.
That leaves:
Kayne and Aimee
Susan and Anthony
among the teams still to be ‘revealed’ it seems.
Second team revealed for 2020 season: Tanya and Dave
They’ve been advertising as April for almost a week now.
Today’s Herald Sun print edition features a short interview with Susan and Anthony Lobriza, one of the eight teams competing this season. They married a year ago and are competitive cheerleaders from Melbourne.

The show was filmed in Tasmania earlier this month, at Kimmy’s house at Summerhill just outside Launceston.
Really?
It’s Bradley who says he has a husband called Jacob.
Seven looking for advertisers.
Starts next Sunday
Highly unusual for a new season of a reality show to begin during Easter non-ratings period.
With more people at home Seven are probably hoping for a bigger audience?
Unless the wrong promo aired but the text on screen definitely said “next Sunday.”
Given 9 has got off to such a quick lead with so many weekly wins, the ratings year is now so badly affected by halts in production, the disruption to AFL and 7 won’t be showing the Olympics, if I were them, I wouldn’t be worried about the number of weeks they win or even winning the year… use 2020 as a year to build your news brand and viewer loyalty.
The additional bulletins, #together promo and increased promotion of 7plus are all a great start…
Do you really think they are still working of old strategies/ratings seasons? The world has completely changed overnight. You’re going to see lots more of this happening.
Official Facebook page confirms Sunday 5 April.
The show’s Twitter has changed its profile pic.
The new season will be shown on Sunday to Wednesday nights, according to promos shown this morning during The Morning Show.
If this is a feel good series, rather than one with too much conflict, it may resonate well with the public at this time.
According to this, eight teams would give the penthouse at the top of Focus Apartments a makeover, but the bottom two teams would be eliminated at the end of the round, leaving six teams for the interior renovation round.
