Oh ok so the contestants gardens?
So it’s a bit of a coincidence the two teams kicked out so far were the ones the furthest way out for traveling and had huge open areas to do up? The ones left are all suburban homes.

Yes. Unless you want to subscribe to that conspiracy theory.
On a previous season the house on a farm near Bega got through to the backyard renovation round. A specific area was marked out as the backyard.
Katie and Alex’s house at Gundaroo is also located on a small block of land, so it would have been easy to mark out the front and back yards.
It belonged to last season’s winning couple Toad and Mandy.
Yeah but this season hasn’t been rating well and production costs and all.
Yes, but the series has probably been filmed for months so they wouldn’t have known about ratings.
Does anyone know what suburb Andy and Lisa live in in Adelaide?
Good question. They never revealed which Adelaide suburb they live in, and the program didn’t provide any clues either.
They just drove near where I live. Looked like Pimpala Rd. So I’m thinking they are southern suburbs and the boys were looking at pavers at Hallet Cove. Be interested to know what suburb could possibly be Woodcroft.
When they did the challenge towards the end a ‘Hopkins Court’ street sign was visible. A quick Google search places it near Pimpala Road, near Woolworths. Don’t know the area, have never been to South Australia, so hope that helps
OK settle down stalkers. Pretty sure Lisa is an actress anyway
So the new gardens round is the combination of previous gardens round and the 24-hour fix-up challenge. Some of the major changes include:
*all three teams involved
*backyard and frontyard divided into three zones
*the new Golden Shovel challenge with Jamie Durie as guest judge. The winning team would receive $5000 towards its budget plus an opportunity to fix up a room inside the homeowner’s house within 48 hours (included in the four day period to renovate the exterior zone), or pass that room to another team. Like the bonus room, it would be a pass/fail as determined by the judges. A pass would be worth 3 bonus points and a fail would cost 3 points.
I eventually found the address of the house in Woodcroft and found the development application. There was no extension applied for, only internal alterations. Lisa and Andy purchased the house in April last year.
It amuses me when some contestants refer to their home as their ‘dream home’ or how they ‘fell in love with it’, rather than just saying their house is a piece of crap in a good location.
hey! thats my Tinder bio.
I found the same house today. Interestingly, the website of Highgrove Bathrooms (one of the show’s suppliers) also identifies the suburbs of the six houses which have undergone internal renovations.
Stalker skills are improving.
Mat collapsed at the end of exterior renovations at Lisa and Andy’s home due to exhaustion, and was admitted to hospital. He and Tim were on The Daily Edition yesterday to talk about the drama and the reno itself.
Wish they’d go back to the Front/Back split for the garden round - you’d think they’d want the majority of the houses on the show refurbished inside and out, and not just the final 2 to get their front yards done. And of course by only having one garden per round they can milk it out further - just thank god they got an episode back so it’s one garden per week - would have been ridiculous to air the revamp of 4 gardens over 6 weeks as originally planned, especially when in earlier series it’s been done over just one week of shows.
For the gardens round the scoring was filmed at Carriageworks in Redfern (near Seven’s HQ) instead of the homebase. Why?
Lisa and Andy said they renovated the front yard after they bought the house, so only backyard makeover was required.
