Seven AFL commentator Abbey Holmes was on The Morning Show today, talking about the upcoming season as well as her young family. Abbey mentioned that she is a big fan of Stephen Peacocke, and had met him in Darwin in 2014. She also named her baby son Brax after the nickname of Stephen’s character Darryl. To her surprise, a pre-recorded video message from Stephen was played live on air.
How sad! Poor kid. ![]()
Stephen and Bonnie will appear on Sunrise next Monday to talk about the WA storyline.
Bonnie Sveen interview in TV Week
Anyone seen this? Very interesting watch.
Seemed like a different theme at the start of tonight’s episode, featuring both a male and female singer. Also looked like some different scenes. Had never heard the theme before. Some parts didn’t sound great.
First time I have seen the new opening with both male and female voices. Will have to wait for the credits to find out who the singers are.
Nice behind the scenes clip of the show. Not often we get to see these sorts of videos.
A great insight of seeing the sets on a different angle and the operations of filming days
Yep new opening titles and theme. The female voice is a bit grating
Are they finally airing them every night now?
Don’t think so, but I guess we will see.
They seem to be only showing them on Thursday night lately.
It’s Monday today that’s why I wondered if they were going to be shown every night.
Might be a Monday thing from now on.
It wouldn’t be hard for them to cut the full thing up to run as 15 second shorts across the week so everyone gets airtime and the theme at the start. Then run the full one Monday
Probably aired tonight due to the start of the WA Event/ Brax & Ricky Storyline
Needs character names included onscreen.
Maybe two of the cast members were the ones who sang the theme song?
The artist who sang the new theme last night are
Matt Gresham and Jessie-May Skahill.
Matt Gresham is a musician from WA. He had competed on both The X Factor and The Voice.
Haven’t heard of Jessie May before.
