According to the Home and Away preview in TV Week this week, the 2025 season will feature new opening intro and the return of the theme song, however they won’t be shown in every episode.

Like between 2006-08. Some nights they cut straight to the titlecard after the recap, and other nights they showed the full-on 30 second intro.
The 30 second opening titles were completely dropped in 2009, replaced by a 15 second version over Summer Bay scenery at the very start of every episode, before the recap. It was ditched in 2010, replaced by a character saying “previously on Home and Away” before the recap.

Found it, but as @David mentioned, it’s just a tiny paragraph at the bottom of a article that focuses on spoilers, etc, and @JohnsonTV already posted everything there is to know.

I notice on 7plus that all the dates attached to episodes for 2024 have been removed, instead only keeping the episode numbers.
I wonder what’s going on here? Trying to push streaming as the primary method of consuming the show?
Opening credits tonight used the same short 7 second theme used in previous years, however, there was a new title sequence, showing various pictures of Summer Bay, and what appears to be a glossier version of the Home and Away logo.
No closing theme either - just the credits beneath a promo for the next few episodes
The new opening theme will be used randomly and won’t debut for a couple of weeks… is my understanding.
