…but not all residents are starstruck by the idea.
In fact, residents in the Wee Jasper Road area, south of Yass, are upset they weren’t given adequate notice, particularly as it will cut the only access road to Yass for long periods of time.
Travel will be disrupted from Saturday, 13 March, until Friday, 19 March.
Anyone know where I can watch old eps of home and away from 2000-2014? Shame they’re not on 7plus. A few on YouTube and dailymotion but that’s about it.
Around 5-6 years ago, there would be a lot of old episodes from 2004-2011 available on YouTube in full. These were old recording from the original airings. Some were from the UK, but most were from here. The ones from Australia came with with the promo for the next episode; no full-screen credits. Most episodes were split into two parts, because of the old 10 minute maximum length.
But around 2016, apparently Seven got a Copyright Protection Officer (or something along those lines). According to a comment I remember reading on one of the videos on YouTube, they began removing these episodes from YouTube, or would leave Part 1 and delete the other parts. Some episodes weren’t removed, but 95% have been sadly.
Thanks for that! I thought some did go missing. I remember watching some in 2013 on YouTube and heaps were available then. Makes sense that half of them aren’t there anymore. Shame 7Plus doesn’t have any on their website or streaming service hasn’t picked them up.
That’s a shame. I often check out old Neighbours eps from time to time and they’re all still up

I would love to watch H&A again, but its been a long time between drinks, would find it hard. Last ep I remember was some bus crash with Martha and Romeo (2008 or 2009)? Gradually stopped watching not long after Esther Anderson’s character arrived. It had become peak ratings for Seven too.
Yeah I thought the show has definitely gone downhill terribly in the last 8 years! Now I see half of the storyline’s being reused with different characters. Nothing original these days. I think I called it quits in early 2016. Prime years were definitely the naughties.
Shhh!
I don’t think it’s been mentioned on here yet, but Sarah Roberts (Willow Harris) is leaving Home and Away.
Australia’s #1 drama will never be the same

A life-changing day is on the way for Summer Bay
Worlds collide in a life-changing day for Summer Bay as attempted murder, everlasting love and past trauma come crashing together in a 90-minute blockbuster event for Australia’s #1 drama: Home and Away , airing Monday, 29 March at 7.00pm.
A shocking discovery about Lewis (Luke Arnold) will ricochet through the Bay as he executes a calculated plan driven by his tortured past. His actions will plough through the community, endangering lives, fracturing families and devastating Jasmine (Sam Frost).
Lewis isn’t the only source of trouble, as Irene (Lynne McGranger) uncovers Susie’s (Bridie Carter) web of deceit - but will this discovery cost Irene her life?
Within the chaos, Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) remains in a coma, unaware his ex-girlfriend Mackenzie (Emily Weir) is struggling with the weight of her life-altering decision to keep his baby.
But not all the residents of Summer Bay are caught in the crossfire. Dean (Patrick O’Connor) is loving life, he’s got a great relationship with Amber (Maddy Jevic), an awesome son, and even Bella (Courtney Miller) and Willow (Sarah Roberts) are getting along. After all this time, has Dean finally found what he’s been missing?
Don’t miss a second of Home and Away’s blockbuster Monday. Summer Bay will never be the same.
Harley Bonner, who played Josh Willis on Neighbours, is joining Home and Away.
Could that mean that Ditch Davey’s role as Christian Green is only temporary and will be finishing up soon?
I doubt they’d have three doctors (Tori, Christian and Logan, not to mention Jasmine as a nurse) all at once.
Harley Bonner joins Home and Away
Television royalty makes its way to Summer Bay
There’s a new doctor in town. Harley Bonner is on his way to Summer Bay, playing the role of Dr. Logan Bennett in Australia’s #1 drama, Home and Away.
Harley is best known for his role as Josh Willis on Neighbours where he worked alongside his mother, Australian actress Carla Bonner, who played Stephanie Scully for 19 years. Harley’s television credits also include a guest role in House Husbands (2012) and a feature in documentary series Creative Kids (2014).
On his impending arrival to Summer Bay, Harley said: “It’s been a while since I’ve had the privilege of working on a program that’s such a hallmark of Australian television. I’m happy to say I picked it back up a lot faster than expected. I really love working on shows like Home and Away , I love my character and I can’t wait for Australia to meet him.”
Harley takes on the role of fully-qualified trauma surgeon, Dr. Logan Bennett. It’s a life-saving intervention that brings Logan to the Bay and an urge to see his patient’s journey through from start to finish that keeps him there.
“I’d describe Logan as a bit of a nomad. Capable, compassionate, intelligent and fun. He’s seen and done a lot in his life, some of which he tries his best to avoid getting into. I’m intrigued to find out what we’ll discover as time goes on.”
This is a brand new playing field for Logan. Summer Bay might just prove to be the change of pace and scenery he’s been looking for, then again, fate may have other plans.
Isn’t it Sarah Roberts?
Oops - my bad, got her surname mixed up with the character’s surname.
Television royalty??
Because his mother was in Neighbours ?
Because he was in neighbours too…
Geez, the bar to becoming Australian TV royalty is really, really low these days…
Ah yes…Graham Kennedy, Bert Newton, Molly Meldrum and Harley Bonner…
