Season 1 of the original US version had only ten episodes so I expect the Seven version will be around the same length. Will Seven show multiple episodes per week or follow ABC America and just show one episode per week?
That’s what Seven should do all the time, have production companies produce the show for them instead of their in-house team who mainly produces rubbish.
They’ll probably do a Ninja and strip it a few days a week.
Apart from Olympia and Brian, it’s good to see them going for some new personalities for this show. Hopefully it’s well produced and rates well.
It’s also possible Seven puts up Holey Moley against Australian Ninja Warrior.
Bad move if it eventuates. Seven should wait until The Block finishes to get a clear run.
Wonder if the actual event Mini Goof place Holey Moley will be involved at all? Sponsor or somehow part of the show
Well, they were the reason that Seven couldn’t initially use the name. They might have done a sponsorship deal as part of negotiations.
I would tend to agree
Can’t see Seven being happy about the report in The Sunday Telegraph likening Holey Moley to Wipeout and Hole in the Wall. Both shows flopped on Nine.
Too bad. Fact is it looks remarkably similar to those programs and their style.

Why do you hate Basil?
Basil Zempilas
Don’t get me wrong Basil isn’t a great commentator in AFL but I think he’ll do well in something like this where nothing’s taken seriously and he is a good host. BT (in comparison) will most likely be irritating, OTT and cringeworthy like his usual-self in AFL. I know which one I prefer in comparison.
Every time I turn on Weekend Sunrise (which, admittedly, is not frequently) he’s always so grumpy. If I wanted to be depressed on my days off I’d just watch Weekend Today
Are you sure you’re not getting him confused with Matt Doran?
Or JBar?
Will the filming of Holey Moley be affected by coronavirus? It is supposed to take place later this month. Even if it goes ahead, Brian Taylor won’t be able to resume work as AFL commentator immediately after returning from the US, as he will have to go into self-isolation for 14 days.
The AFL might be canceled all together and this time next week there could be travel bands to and from the US.
All television production in the USA has been shutdown, it appears, except for news. So their is no chance of Holey Moley going ahead, I think.
A big blow for Seven if it doesn’t go ahead.
