The vision and the audio on the Sky News feed on Ch9 was terribly out of sync and stayed like that for a long time. I’m surprised there was nothing they could do to fix it because it made it difficult to watch.

No surprises but NZ state broadcaster TVNZ will broadcast the funeral live; starting with build up coverage at 7:30pm NZST before the event begins at 10pm NZST, lasting throughout the night.

Her Majesty’s coffin will be placed on a gun carriage of The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery for the procession to Westminster Abbey. King Charles III will be joined by Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, Prince William and Prince Harry as they walk behind the Queen’s coffin. She will lie in state at Westminster Abbey until her state funeral on Monday 19 September.

I can understand doing buildup coverage from 3pm AEST since it’ll be 6am in the UK and there’ll be things/events that can be covered across the afternoon before the formal pre-funeral proceedings begin. However, beginning the buildup from 12pm AEST is too excessive - especially if it’ll be rolling coverage.
