I have never heard Fifi sing either.
Just hearing in the happy hour now in Perth - its a bit of fun. She’s like “I can’t sing!!” and “I’m used to karaoke bars! Do I even have an orchestra?” The promo shot just doesnt really convey the humour of it.

Fifi Box’s One Night Only concert next Wednesday has got a major sponsor: Liberty Financial. Joanne Accom (best known for her 1998 hit Jackie) and Shannon Noll are joining the guest line-up.
Fifi was absent from her show this morning, as she has a scheduled operation later today.

Jemma Rix was a late addition to the guest line-up to Fifi Box’s One Night Only concert. Fifi interrupted her duet with Lucy Durack to introduce the Wicked co-star, who appeared on stage to Lucy’s surprise. Later, Fifi sang Let It Go with Jemma.
This morning’s Fox breakfast featured replays of performances from the concert, while the show’s Instagram account also contains highlights.

Fox is doing the best of Fifi, Fev and Nick at breakfast time for the next fortnight.
Yep, it was the best of Bel, Bernie and Emma G today here in Adelaide on SAFM.
I don’t think it was announced, however, Nikki and Lucy are filling in on drive from 4pm weekdays.
Carrie and Tommy highlights air from 3pm for one hour.

Not sure how widely it’s been discussed beyond when it was mentioned 7 Melb journalists were manning SCA news bulletins but…
For the past few weeks at least in Perth, the 6pm 7News team rostered on have been providing the news/sport/weather. Noticed Alicia and other SCA news staff have probably been made redundant/dropped off beyond I guess the Brekky shift?
Both Hit and MMM have a seven news branded opener, Triple M keeping their newer news bed, Hit has a weird mix of the 7 News theme with a generic radio bed. The sport/weather stings remain the previous network branded ones.
Clunky execution with each presenter introducing themselves after the sting and “…with your 7 Sport/Weather news”
Sort of SevCA’s anwer to the Nine Radio era but with more redundancy. Assuming the ‘bulletins’ are just prerecorded once an arvo with the other 7 News updates for radio/TV during the day.
Seems like radio news journos are no longer viable in the newer network models, whole newsrooms that used to exist basically don’t anymore.

I heard a promo on 2DAY FM this afternoon asking listeners “Where Did You Come From?” presumably to try and give the impression that listeners were coming back to them in light of the K&J split (even though 2DAY dropped in the last survey).
They had listeners saying things like “I kissed KIIS goodbye” etc

Thanks yes, I’d be surprised if they were new given the split happened a while ago. But I hadn’t seen this mentioned in this thread before, so it made me wonder
Can I ask why some of the hit stations have different jingles and formats for news etc compared to the rest of the stations. I have noticed it for 2Day1041 and most Hit WA stations
