Nothing obvious? I’ve been listening for 30 minutes including the 9am break. Still the same to me?

Sounds like some users need to cite their sources

Only noticeable change is that Fifi, Fev & Nick have updated branding to align with Carrie & Tommy.

This is Fifi, Fev and Nick’s new branding.

Surely you’d just use the H part of the Hit logo, since Hit means nothing to Mix’s audience (and vice versa?)

i think it’s that way now though considering it’s now syndicated across regional WA

Correct - but if the announcers can stay away from ID’ing the station, it’s bizarre to me that the marketing team is happy to slap a Hit logo on a Mix product because of some regional markets.

I think there would be a regional variant with ‘Hit’ and a local Perth version with Mix94.5 instead. I’m assuming they’ve just gone with Hit for the podcast because they’re trying to make it both Mix and Hit WA’s product.

Not that many outside of MS would really care but they have to subtly alienate either the main audience or regional one in marketing, without displaying both Hit WA and Mix logos on the ad. (Why not just the logo on its own?)

I guess in this case Hit works better from the sense that it’s the network name, assuming people are aware Mix is Perths Hit aligned station, so it’s not technically ‘inaccurate’ for Perth to see Hit and also doesn’t redundantly spread the Mix brand beyond Perth metro to the rest of WA.

Speaking of, Fev is doing another game for a local club, this time down to reserves for Melbourne club Masala.
