I’m in Melbourne and it was on 7plus and available to view last night.
It’s available on 7plus in Sydney now too.
Available in Brisbane as of today. Although I’m not sure when it actually went up.
Putting it on 7pus before it aires nationally sounds silly
Probably but it’s too late now, It’s been done.
Daryl has confirmed two new Red Faces specials have been filmed for Seven.
Hi All, I’m very excited to let you know we have just delivered the second of two new Red Faces specials to Seven for on-air soon.
We had so much fun putting these together and have included many favourites you’ve requested like The Amazing Nigel and Harry
(we can now finally reveal what happened to their magic dove that flew into the lighting grid … you won’t be disappointed). It’s extraordinary the lengths people would go to just to be on the show. Age was no barrier, nor lack of talent, the more bizarre the better:
Can you drink a can of coke without using your mouth? How many tunes can you play on your oven? You may have had an egg roll but have you ever tried a Humpty Dumpty rap? How much fun can you get out of six dissected animals?
There’s something for everyone in these two light hearted specials celebrating one of the best traits of the Australian character, humour … with a large dose of self deprecation thrown in for good measure.
Stay happy,
Daryl
no no no no god no !!. this belongs and should stay in the past. its not relevant today
Good luck to them, similar to Got Talent, nothing wrong with that concept in this day and age, I am sure there will be some viewers, better than most of the largely manufactured reality crap the networks sprout.
This will be good. I’m sure Darryl Kerrigan will be happy!!
If shows like Britain’s Got Talent can air on Seven in primetime, then there two specials of Red Faces is fine.
I’ll probably at least watch the first Special, and if its good enough, will tune into the second one. Time will tell.
That’s your… ‘one’ opinion.
mine and others i know as well
Happy for those you know.
But there are also others, perhaps you don’t know, who might enjoy this. For the nostalgia if nothing else.
I think the two Red Faces specials will air this month as a timeslot filler before the Birmingham Commonwealth Games starts on July 28.
Red Faces was “must see tv” before you went out on a Saturday night in the 80s and 90s. Some great (and equally terrible) acts. But good fun. No harm in some nostalgia.
and this is why free to air is in decline and no one watches. Keep recycling the same old stuff and it gets stale.
Promo just aired during BHG.
Airs next Sunday 7.00, then Monday.
“The Best of the Best and Worst of Red Faces”. Looks like clips with celebrities commenting.
Up against the first two episodes of Hunted and Beauty and the Geek. It will have been better to air the specials on the next two Sundays (July 17 and 24) instead.
So I read the Sunday night episode is The Best of the Best and Worst of Red Faces, while the Monday night episode is The Very Best of the Best and Worst of Red Faces
