In addition to the report on TV Tonight Mediaweek has a host.

WTFN’s chief creative officer Steve Oemcke said in a statement: “WTFN is excited to breathe new life into this once hugely popular heritage brand. We’ll bring back all the magic of the original series, with a distinctly 2025 twist. Fun, laughs and lots of learning will win over a whole new audience of lifestyle lovers.”

Healthy, Wealthy and Wise segments will include food, home and travel plus finance tips and lifestyle hacks.

It is expected that Chrissie Swan will host the program.

Healthy, Wealthy and Wise will have been a shoo-in for Saturday 7.30pm timeslot (partially filling the gap left by the absence of AFL matches in some states, due to Fox Footy’s Super Saturday exclusivity), if not for Better Homes and Gardens on the night before. I don’t think many people will watch two similar lifestyle shows on consecutive nights.

Aa mentioned in the Seven Schedule topic, this was a surprise return. Especially since it was last on pur screens over 25 years ago.

Will this air in its original one hour length? But if it airs on Saturdays, most of the recent shows (The Great Outdoors and Border Security) have aired at 7pm for 30 minutes. Will this be the same?

It has been quite a few months since we have heard about this shows return. Any word if it is still happening? And when?

I wonder if it will replace House of Wellness in the 7.30pm Friday slot later this year? Or will Seven find a better suitable timeslot?

Chrissie Swan leads revival of Aussie lifestyle favourite

One of Australian television’s favourite lifestyle shows is making a comeback after almost three decades, with a reimagined new format and a TV WEEK Logie Award-winning host.

The all-new Healthy, Wealthy & Wise is coming soon to the Seven Network, featuring TV and radio royalty Chrissie Swan as host.

Chrissie will be joined by a fresh team of expert presenters, handpicked from Australia’s best content creators, and many of the segments from the beloved 1990s hit – including food, home, money, health and travel – are set to return, with a very 2025 twist.

Chrissie said: “When I got the call, it took me all of five seconds to say yes! I was a huge fan of the show back in the nineties and as an obsessive home cook, renovator and lover of helpful home hacks, I was born for this role.”

Healthy, Wealthy & Wise is being brought back to life by WTFN Entertainment, the creators of the four-time TV WEEK Logie Award-winning series, The Living Room, as well as Code 1: Minute By Minute, Bondi Vet, Paramedics and much more.

The new fun and entertaining program will be packed with useful info for viewers at home, with a mix of studio-based segments and stories filmed on location around Australia.
