I agree! What’s Luke’s claim to fame anyway? He’s just cringeworthy and don’t find anything he says funny. I remember during the flood appeal, they crossed to him and made a complete tool of himself

The only thing that Luke excelled in was in Rosehaven with Celia Pacquola. Everything else he’s appeared in recently (HYBPA, Saturday Night Rove, Would I Lie to You? flood appeal etc) have been nothing but embarrassing.

What’s any comedians claim to fame? We all have different tastes. I don’t find Wil Anderson, Glenn Robins or Mick Molloy all that funny. In fact I can’t stand Wil and also don’t like Judith Lucy very much or Lano and Woodley. All of these are supposed to be some of Australia’s top funny people. I like Luke and understand that his “bumbling” character is part of his act.

Yeah how come he has to laugh and be nervous after each joke but he can deliver lines fine on Rosehaven? It’s all an act. Someone with that much perceived social anxiety would never make it in the industry let alone get a show up.

Let’s be honest, Luke is polarising, and I for one know exactly where I stand with with him.
When it comes to Luke speaking, I wish he would take tips from Teller out of Penn and Teller.

How are the laughs not muffled? particles would still spill out of those masks.

I don’t think I’ve seen 100% mask compliance anywhere since the pandemic started, even in the darkest days. Did they threaten to put Luke on the panel again if they didn’t mask up?

I remember when Covid first happened and I think I was in the audience of The Project or Hughesy We Have a Problem and had to wear a mask the whole time. That only just dawned on me
