Literally a non-issue, and Ford the only one trying to make a big deal of it. Suits the fodder he tries to pedal to remain somewhat relevant.
Peter Ford clarified his comments on 3AW breakfast today, saying he was not furious, but curious about what the comedians said on last week’s episode.
Something's out of whack here... 👀

New #HYBPA TONIGHT 8:30pm on 10 and 10 play 📺 pic.twitter.com/a4Ky0FEB8e
Interesting comment about the 7 horoscopes and the ‘70’s porn music’ on tonight’s show. Feel like I read that somewhere earlier last week ![]()
New segment on tonight’s show: Surprise Twisters. Each contestant was shown a clip from a tornado-based movie, before Tom asked a question related to the clip.
Interesting that there has been no guest quiz master tonight.
First time since the August 30, 2021 episode that there was no guest quizmaster.
More info on Daniel Connell. He is currently performing his Little Aussie Battler tour around Australia.
Usually settle in to watch HYBPA on catch up about now and noticed only 10 mins is available on ten play. Hopefully this is just a glitch?!?
Have the same issue. Just the first segment available right now. Exited 10 Play a few times to see if it updated but still only first 10 mins.
Honestly, not a bad thing, allows for more normal questions, but at the same time we lose the banter between the panel and the guest.
TV Tonight has picked up on the Daily Mail story on last week’s episode.
Have Daniel, Kitty, Alex, Ed And Sam Been Paying Attention?
Monday, 29 July At 8:30pm On 10 And 10 Play.
One of the most active stand-up comedians in the country is making his Have You Been Paying Attention? debut this Monday night.
Daniel Connell will take to the podium to see if he’s got what it takes to beat seasoned professionals Kitty Flanagan, Alex Ward, Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang to the punchline.
Quizmaster Tom Gleisner will delicately wrangle this motley crew as they attempt to make their way up the Have You Been Paying Attention? leaderboard.
The only mistake the HYBPA team have made was deleting the Trump jokes from the episode.
The material was clearly not directed at the person who died and was in no way offensive.
If we are really living in a world where Sam Pang is not allowed to point out that Trump has “ a big orange head” then we really are living in the nanny state that the Conservative side of politics are normally rallying against.
Didn’t the show get in trouble back in 2016 for jokes about the death of the King of Thailand?
Yep - they later edited the jokes from 10play, as well as the episode recording (for future broadcasts).
I suppose they could just edit the question by removing the joke responses and only showing the correct answer.
Looking forward to the 10 Play exclusive educational edition! No jokes allowed, only answers.
