Have You Been Paying Attention?

You need to give up the conspiracy theories. I’m sure they look at what combinations work best and try to recreate that.

For example, looking at the list on wikipedia, Kitty gets matched up with Aaron Chen a lot lately and Marty gets matched up with Celia Pacquola. Maybe they see more opportunities for jokes and banter that way rather than matching two similar comedians together.

It’s really annoying how slow 10 is at uploading HYBPA to 10play.

Take the tinfoil hat off

May not be. Has he got a book or a new series to flog? He could be doing the rounds

I like how Tom apologized for the Barbie incident that happened the Monday prior.

What was the barbie incident? I missed last week’s show

While trying to stop them showing it again on the screen behind him.

The segment was Barbie Qs - Tom showed a number of Barbies one of which had an exchangeable head. He was accused of inappropriately touching after a wardrobe malfunction.

Has Alan Davies Been Paying Attention?

Monday, 7 August At 8.40pm On 10 And 10 Play.

It’s been a big week for Have You Been Paying Attention? after taking home the Logie Award for Most Popular Comedy Program, but believe it or not, it’s an even bigger week on the podium next Monday.

Emma Holland, Guy Montgomery, Kitty Flanagan and series regular, Ed Kavalee will be joined by special international guest, Alan Davies, in a TV exclusive while he’s in Australia. One of the UK’s funniest and most well-known comedians, Alan will have his work cut out for him to get across the Australian news landscape.

It’s a truly star-studded line up and Quizmaster Tom Gleisner will be put to the test to keep the podium in check.

It’s the only quiz show where the wrong answers are just as important as the right ones.

It’s an all star podium on Have You Been Paying Attention?

Alan Davies is back and will be joined by Urzila Carlson, Marty Sheargold , Melanie Bracewell and everyone’s favourite permanent contestant, Ed Kavalee.

It’s no secret that they’re an unruly bunch, so Quizmaster Tom Gleisner will have his work cut out for him as he discerns the funny from the facts.

While you shouldn’t count on the show as your source of news, you can count on it leaving you in stitches.

No Sam for the third week in a row. Was hoping he’d be back for this one so they could quiz him on some of the Logies shenanigans.

Sam’s retired now

Ariarne Titmus, fresh from World Aquatics Championships, is guest quizmaster this week.

Ariarne also appeared on the desk at The Project tonight.

What an embarassingly flat first segment

I disagree. I was just coming to say the show is very loose tonight, and it’s great.

Does Alan think that they are competing to see who hits the buzzer first?!
