Not quite, 24 and 4 respectively as there was no Year 0.
21st century didn’t start until 2001.

Yep, since we’re all nerds here this is the correct answer Nevertheless, the fact remains that we’re nearly a quarter of the way through the century and that is as scary as Alan Jones in a boarding house.
The new year looks pretty much like the old one from where I stand.

I love that we get New Years before almost everywhere else. It makes us feel even more special than we already are.
I think I’d hate to be a Hawaiian and always be almost the last.

Oh plenty… the humidity, the cost of eating out, having to fly to go anywhere.

At least you can do a decent road/train trip here.
Do you not like overseas travel?
I do, i was in England in Sept/Oct actually.
And I’m off to Vegas in 8 weeks for the NRL games.
But the long flights do make it harder.
Ater that, I’ll do more Australian travelling again.
