I actually caught a bit of 101.5’s Aussie Rock show yesterday afternoon and it wasn’t bad. Rock was a loose description, but some good (and interesting) old songs getting a play again. Some I noted:

  • Hoodoo Gurus - My Girl
  • Gyan - Wait
  • Allniters - Montego Bay (OK, not sure if this is the thread for this one, but still a rare song to hear)

Recently heard Canned Heat by Jamiroquai on Triple M Newcastle 102.9 during their summer 600 countdown. As much as I criticise the regional MMM’s for being a hit and miss Greatest Hits station compared to the Rock station Metro equivalent.
