STAN ANNOUNCES THE BRAND NEW STAN ORIGINAL SERIES GOOD COP/BAD COP STARRING LEIGHTON MEESTER, LUKE COOK AND CLANCY BROWN COMMISSIONED WITH THE CW AND ROKU
From the writer of Will & Grace and filmed in Queensland, the eight-part series from Future Shack Entertainment and Jungle Entertainment will premiere in 2025, only on Stan.
Stan, Australia’s unrivalled home of original productions, The CW and Roku, today announced the brand new Stan Original Series Good Cop/Bad Cop, a procedural comedic drama from writer John Quaintance (Will & Grace, Workaholics). Starring Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl, Exmas), Luke Cook (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) and Clancy Brown (Dexter: New Blood, Billions), the series will begin production soon.
The Stan Original Series Good Cop/Bad Cop follows Lou (Leighton Meester) and Henry (Luke Cook), a sister and brother detective team in a small Pacific Northwest police force who must contend with colourful residents, a serious lack of resources, and their very complicated dynamic with each other and their police chief, Big Hank (Clancy Brown) – who happens to be their father.

The Stan Original Series Good Cop/Bad Cop is created and written by John Quaintance (Will & Grace, Workaholics), with Stan Original Series Population 11 creator Phil Lloyd as co-executive producer. Director and Executive Producer Trent O’Donnell (Stan Original Series Population 11) will set up the series, alongside Natalie Bailey (Stan Exclusive Series Joe vs. Carol), Gracie Otto (Stan Original Series Bump) and Corrie Chen (Stan Original Series Bad Behaviour). The Jungle Entertainment and Future Shack Entertainment production is supported by the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy.
