I’d definitely keep Cruise as a DAB+ station in Adelaide and why not have GOLD60s and/or GOLD70s on DAB+ in Brisbane?

But Gold is already on DAB in Adelaide as well as Cruise? To me this simply means switching 1323 AM over to the Gold stream. So there is a small chance that Cruise could live on DAB only going forward?

Craig Huggins will be back on air on Cruise 1323 on Monday 21 September according to his post on the Cruise 1323 facebook. He will be back on air for a week and half before Cruise 1323 becomes Gold 1323 and COC takes over on Thursday October 1.
I would think Craig should of taken his holiday after October 1 though

Holiday was probably preplanned / booked before the Gold1323 announcement was made.

That is bad planning for ARN then to allow Craig Huggins and Steve ‘Bilko’ Bilokin to go on Hoildays few weeks before Cruise becomes Gold then. I would believe October 1 date was decided on months ago by ARN Bosses I am guessing

Also I would launch Gold1323.com.au with a countdown clock and live stream of Gold Adelaide DAB and info on upcoming change over from Cruise 1323 to Gold 1323 on Cruise1323.com.au
An employer cannot refuse a reasonable request for leave. “We are getting rid of the radio station that you voicetrack a couple of hours for on the side” would hardly count as a reasonable refusal.
As far as we know, Huggy will continue at Gold 96FM when he gets back. Bilko will continue at Zinc and whatever else ARN Regional use him for. The winding down of a neglected AM station several thousand kilometres away is moot.
