i think website changes should be this week (at least you would think if they want this rebrand/network re-alignment to work)

Their studio number has now changed too, to the GOLD number, no longer 13 1065.
Kind of funny to watch ARN go through the network switchover just like SCA did a few years back with Hit/Mix/Triple M Perth.

Just heard a promo on GOLD96FM mentioning Lisa & Russel for breakfast and Jonesy & Amanda for the drive home.
Also, it mightâve been coincidental, but it sounded like Smiley mentioned the word, âGOLDâ like it was their positioner, as opposed to their name. I wonder if this is for transition purposes?
It sounded a bit broken up IMO⌠âGOLD⌠96FMâ. Mind you, their promos & sweepers refer to the name all as one, âGOLD96FMâ.
Letâs also take a moment to acknowledge the retirement (again) of the heritage 96FM logo today.

my prediction is 2026 is a transition phase and we could be seeing Gold 96.1 in 2027 with COC

Wow, that could settle it then.
If it were GOLD1323 Adelaide thatâd be different. But GOLD Adelaide could simply mean DAB+.
Surely ARN wouldâve confirmed if this is the case, as their upfronts in 2025 did clearly state it would be rebranded to GOLD1323. Whether or not COC will be aired onto 1323AM or a DAB+ station in Adelaide, is yet to be confirmed. But the rebrand is happening regardless.

My comment only referred to the part about Jonesy & Amanda. They will be on GOLD96FM drive, but there is no mention of that, only GOLD80âs Perth DAB.

Been listening a bit to Cruise this morning, no rebrand promos on air so far.
facebook has now been moved over to new brand (still older name, but i think it takes a while as FB needs to approve it on their end)

Only one half of this turned out to be true.
Does Adelaide even get a rebrand? Wouldnât rely on their social media team for that, but weâll see.
