Oh wow. Jacqui ex-Triple M.

She’d be a good permanent on WS if the opportunity arose.

WSFM’s summer line up is

Kevin Johnson (Jonno) who has once again come home to Sydney for Christmas from 7HO FM to handle Breakfast, like he did last year.

Bryan Madigan (WSFM Music Director) on 10-2

Jacqui Kassulke (Ex-2TripleM) on 2-6.

All live and local out of the Champs ÉlysĂ©es of Sydney
 Macquarie Park.

Some audio glitches during the WSFM “Party Playlist” program tonight
dropping a few bars here and there
sort of like the old needle ‘jumping’ on the record.

Some great songs though.

What’s on 6-8pm and what is sunset sessions? Automation with a name?

I think it’s a 30 min mini concert with 5 or 6 live songs from the one artist.

I’ve always been amazed that Gold doesn’t have a night show as such. Even a pre recorded night show

Smacks of the penny pinching of the Clear Channel era. There’s definitely a market there and with the right content, draw in more audience and clients.

I did email WSFM once to suggest they air the Retro 20/20 Countdowns that their regional stations air (or create their own metro version), but they didn’t seem interested.

Every night from 8pm, it’s just announcer free music on both WS and GOLD.

I remember. They talked it down. Madness. It’s metro quality.

Regarding the Sydney studio move, I heard from the tech dept late last week that the WSFM Breakfast studio is nearly done & WSFM main studio is mostly a pile of equipment on the desk so it needs a couple of days work yet, so all going well WSFM will move in a couple of weeks. MCR from North Sydney has been operational for about 5 weeks now I think it would be.

So they have to wait for another 2 weeks to move?
