Hot Tomato dives every single timeslot. Maybe localism is no longer a great selling point?
10-17 has suffered a massive drop from 44 to 27.8! What’s triggered such a huge dive?
Hot Tomato maintained its top position, despite falling 2.2 to land at 19.5%. Triple M Gold was 2nd with 15.6% (+1.7), followed by Sea FM with 9.9% (+1.0), and ABC Gold Coast with 7.1% (+2.6).

In breakfast, Hot Tomato’s Galey & Emily Jade was #1 with 18.8% (-2.6), followed by Triple M Gold’s Leisel Jones, Liam & Spida with 15.8% (+2.1), ABC Gold Coast’s Trevor Jackson with 11.7% (+5.1), and Bronte & Lakey / Jess & Rohan on Sea with 9.7% (+0.7). In drive, Hot Tomato’s Moyra & Big Trev was #1 with 20.8% (-4.5), followed by Rush Hour on Triple M Gold with 12.6% (+1.1), and Carrie & Tommy on Sea with 11.5% (+2.9).
The “Other Stations” share this survey is at 29.5%, down 1.1 from the previous survey.
That’s a good result for ABC Local radio - one of the best we’ve seen. Though triple j is lower than most markets.
Best for them since S1/2015’s 7.9 share.
Fewer parents making them listen to 102.9 in the car to school? Can’t figure what else.
Nice for the now-axed Bronte & Lakey to be able to say they went out on a high too. It will be interesting to see what the Sea FM breakfast figure does next survey.
