I know that the Brisbane stations do have a fair few listeners on the GC cause you can pick them up as far south as Kingscliff in Tweed Heads. But I do agree tho Rebel and Breeze should be counted as they are moderately popular on the GC and aimed for GC residents with GC, Beaudesert, & Logan advertising.

Would expulsion be a bad thing? How many times have CRA member stations submitted to ACMA against a Rebel Media LAP variation for a planned service?
Or the shambolic, industry led disaster that is the Gold Coast DRMT planning and the laughable Brisbane DAB+ variation? Stalled and now scrapped FM spectrum restacks in some metros and surrounds. Bungled and delayed regional FM conversions. All largely as industry led rather than regulator led.
Both Rebel & Caralis were refused aggregation of DAB+ licence areas by Gold Coast licensees early on as mentioned in consultation documents.
If an umbrella body cannot be truly representative of members and potential members, then its overall effectiveness is compromised by refusing to address their own conflict of interest.
Protectionist arguments are often outdated, demonstrate a narrow mindedness and project an image of an outdated sector that is or will soon be surpassed by superior, more efficient, more modern solutions/products/services.
CRA has been heading that way since when it was FARB.
