In the demos, Hot Tomato is #1 on among the under-65s, with ABC Gold Coast topping the 65+.
In breakfast, Hot Tomato’s Galey & Emily Jade dominate with 18.5% (-5.3), followed by Triple M Gold’s Leisel Jones, Liam & Spida with 11.9% (-2.8), Bronte & Lakey on Sea with 8.8% (-1.6), and ABC Gold Coast’s Nicole Dyer with 7.6% (+3.4). In drive, Hot Tomato’s Moyra & Big Trev dominate with 19.5% (-3.1), followed by Triple M Gold (a mixture of The Marty Sheargold Show, Troy Ellis & Rush Hour aired throughout the survey period) with 13.9% (+1.9), and Carrie & Tommy on Sea with 8.7% (-3.2).
The “Other Stations” share is at 32.4%, up 1.3 from the previous survey.
Another huge result for “Other”
Not a bad survey for the 2 ABC local radio stations.
Best showing for ABC Gold Coast since a 5.9 in S2/2019
Sorry if this has already been asked, but how much of that share would be Rebel and/or Breeze?
It’s no surprise 4BC increased. They had rolling local coverage of the cyclone during that period.
It’s hard to say with any certainty, but I would estimate around 10% combined for the Rebel/Breeze combo, maybe a little more. A big chunk of the Other figure would be community stations too, 94.1, Juice etc.
as someone who travels down the goldie almost weekly, when i am in range hot tomato or juice are the 2 i listen to. honestly, if my radio could automaticly switch from classic fm on DAB Brisbane, to DAB gold coast i’d probally not even bother switching
Not that we’re talking much volume, but would 1620 have more listeners than 693? I know that Hutchy likes to have more AFL on 1620 (for the Victorian expats).
