They watched the Manu & Collin show that aired Wednesday night on 7. So I’m assuming that would have been an advance viewing. Otherwise it’s a very short turnaround.
Adam and Symon are absent from this week’s show as they are overseas for a wedding.
With any luck they’ll stay there for a while.
They add nothing to this show anymore.
I’m surprised they didn’t show the AFL GF. But maybe because it’s now a 10 show they don’t want to show them? Or maybe the reason why they showed the AFL & NRL GF before was because those sports that Fox had rights to (even they didn’t show the GF live)
Also again they probably had advance screening of RFDS given it premiered Wednesday night.
No NRL GF too. I wonder why they didn’t show the 2 biggest tv programs for the season. I know it’s just sports but they have always showed these 2 GF so this is a change from 10 I assume
Quite possibly because there’s no story to tell with those watching. If the goggleboxers had their team plaing it might be of interest otherwise why bother? Also, they’ve covered them before so not that original to do again.
Sure but they have featured these games every season.
Also I think there are cast from Brisbane who would watch their AFL & NRL teams. Same with Melbourne cast too
They have watched grand finals in the past but I don’t think it has been every year. Some years they have watched highlights (Fox watermark) or a news or Project report. I have found the live watching looks fake for some reason.
According to Wikipedia episode descriptions they have watched every AFL GF since they started (2015 to 2024). With NRL it’s been 2017-2019 & 2021-2024.
I’m not saying they MUST watch it but it’s definitely a change from when it was a Fox/10 co production show
Probably a good change. I like seeing a variety of different shows featured.
Well they played a really old ep of the travel show from the Inspired Unemployed guys last week so we know ten/paramount shows take priority.
According to TV Tonight, after next Thursday’s episode in the regular 7.30pm timeslot, the season finale will air on Sunday, November 2, to be followed by the debut of Ghosts Australia.
This looks like a highlights special. Because they just said it was the finale tonight.
Again 10 With lazy programming
I just realised that when the Goggleboxers walked off their couches.
This Sunday is the best of 2025 episode.
Interesting that they have an M classification for the 7:00pm time slot, but I suspect that is incorrect as that is not allowed in that time slot. This episode will have to be PG.
The Best Of episode was not uploaded as at 8am Monday
Is the episode screening tonight a “best of”. It’s labelled Season 22 Episode 11 on the EPG so must be one tacked to the end of the 10 regular eps.
