Which celebrities will Glenn Robbins and Mick Molloy target next?
The Seven Network today announced that Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention will return for a second season on Seven and 7plus in 2027.
Season one of the hilarious original format, from the minds of comedy legends Glenn Robbins and Mick Molloy, saw Australian radio, television, music, comedy and sporting greats Carrie Bickmore, Sam Pang, Dr Chris Brown, Guy Sebastian, Dave Hughes, Mick Fanning and Jim Jefferies face the music, with a standalone Andy Lee episode still to come later this year.
The series was met with critical acclaim on its debut in April, reaching an average total video audience of 1.51 million people across the season, as Glenn, Mick, and the celebrity guest’s friends, family and colleagues revisited the highs, the lows and the moments they’d rather forget in a riotous look back at their life and career.
Southern Cross Media Group’s Managing Director, Television and Streaming, Angus Ross, said: “When Glenn and Mick first pitched Celebrity Intervention, we knew it was unlike anything else on television. Audiences clearly agreed. The show’s combination of comedy, chaos and affection made it an instant favourite, and we’re delighted to bring it back for a second season. For the celebrities of Australia, consider this your official warning: interventions will resume in 2027.”
Glenn Robbins said: “I’m very happy about a second season but not about sharing a dressing room with Mick again. He can get a bit handsy.”
Mick Molloy said: “This is bad news for celebrities who’ve had it too good for too long. Prepare for a pantsing on national TV! No-one has more experience with interventions than me. Sure, normally I’m on the other side of one, but this show has made me more qualified than some of those so-called experts with their fancy university degrees. And thank you to Seven for the second season. They don’t hand those out lightly. Take it from someone who knows.”
Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention is produced by Molloy Boy Productions for the Seven Network. Executive Producers are Mick Molloy, Richard Molloy and Greg Sitch. International sales by Molloy Boy Productions.

New season coming to Seven and 7plus in 2027
Surely Dave Hughes. He needs an intervention
Not on that show. I’m thinking more an actual intervention with medical officers.
Good to read that the show is returning to our screens next year. Hopefully with some minor tweaks. Like getting Glenn Robbins asking more questions for example.
Also, i wonder when the final episode of this season will air… they said after the Commonwealth Games, but when exactly? And with who?
Andy
It’s in the post a few above:
This must be the one that is reportedly not funny. Wouldn’t be surprised. Andy Lee is very overrated.
He’s not a comedian. He’s a host. He was always the straight man in the Hamish and Andy duo. People expect him to be funny but he’s not.
Not all the guests on this show were comedians or funny either.
No but the show is meant to be funny, and the guests they’ve had so far have been good sports and able to join in the banter.
Andy Lee
Join Glenn Robbins, Mick Molloy and guest co-host Kate Langbroek as they perform a much-needed intervention on Andy Lee.
They’re joined by Andy’s best mate Hamish Blake, who makes a plea for him to get his renovation under control, while Andy’s fiancé Bec Harding has some strong feedback and Aussie captain Pat Cummins begs Andy to stop acting like he is a member of the Australian Cricket team.

Mondays to Sundays now. But why???
It’s the last episode of the season and presumably hoping the Bathurst audience stick around
Yep only one episode.
Well Andy Lee just blew the whole premise of the show when he said to his parents, “I apologise for inviting you”. It’s supposed to be Glenn luring the unsuspecting guest to the studio…
I think they gave up pretending that it was a surprise intervention for the celebrity involved after the first couple of episodes.
I think the ‘cunning ruse’ is a comedic play. It goes to Glen Robbins which the audience can clearly see is scripted and then back to Molloy and ‘wait the guest is here right now’. The audience isn’t stupid. The joke is more that they pretend its real when the audience knows its not. A bit like on HYBPA and there is guest ‘on the satellite’ and Ed goes to ask a question of the guest and the satellite drops out - the audience know it is pre recorded. Although as it clearly over the top obvious - I do hope its dropped for season 2
I do realise all that.
