Also coming is the secretive Mick Molloy and Glenn Robbins comedy chat show.
“They do have a title, and we do have all the guests, but in the next week or two, you’re going to see one of those drop…they want to just keep doing that as a reveal. I was excited from the day we saw the rough pilot, and the more it goes along, I think these guys are geniuses,” he teases.
Seven is yet to indicate if it will play as a 7:30pm or 8:30pm show.
“We think Nine will probably have The Floor there, there’ll be things like, Have You Been Paying Attention or Cheap Seats. I think it would be a mistake to be playing like-for-like shows’ against each other. That’s an error of 5 to 10 years ago. We want the best result for television, and Seven.”
Mick Molloy revealed on Triple M this morning that the new show would be called Glenn and Mick’s Celebrity Intervention.
Glenn and Mick’s Celebrity Intervention? A long title. But i dont mind the concept of it.
TvTonight says it is expected to air in Q2 (which is after Easter).
Of all the titles they could have chosen, “Celebrity Intervention” was the best?
