So we should expect something on June 3 if Birmingham is anything to go by.
Itâs sports in prime time I think it will rate well. It wonât be big as Olympics but it will definitely rate well. Especially since there isnât any or many other things to compete with.
Which seems odd given youâve posted in this thread on multiple occasions previously.
Except if Nine decides to premiere Block at this period like last year.
Thatâs true but generally the block starts slow before ramping up. But yeah it could start around the same time?
Youâd have to be in the minority I think. Given the success of the athletics on 7 over the last weekend, I think the Comm Games will rate well.

Commonwealth Games Australia and AAMI have today unveiled The Pursuit of Unstoppable, a six-part Green2Gold2Great documentary series available on 7Plus and YouTube, to mark 100 days to go until Glasgow 2026.
A fly-on-the-wall experience that goes beyond medals and moments to reveal the people, personalities and passion driving the green and gold campaign, the series offers a candid look at the ambition, grit and innovation shaping Australian athletes and the teams around them.
The Pursuit of Unstoppable features Athletics, Basketball 3Ă3, Cycling, Netball, Para Swimming and Triathlon, with each episode taking viewers inside the training environments and highâperformance programs of Australian sport.
Led by athletes and offering rare access, The Pursuit of Unstoppable explores what it really takes to succeed at the highest level.
From cuttingâedge equipment and data insights to sports psychology, Para sport classification, youth pathways and the pressures of preparation, the series captures life on the road to the Games.
Supported by AAMI, it celebrates not only podium results, but the people, partnerships and programs that help make them possible.
The launch coincides with the release of the Cycling episode, the first instalment in a rolling release that will continue in the lead-up to Glasgow 2026.
Jesse Korf, AusCycling Executive General Manager of High Performance, said CGAâs investment is unlocking critical performance improvements ahead of Glasgow 2026.
âWeâre incredibly privileged to have the support that weâre getting from Commonwealth Games Australia,â Korf said.
âBy optimising aerodynamics and equipment efficiency, we can gain a lot of speed and performance. Thatâs one other element of the investment from CGA that it enables us to do.
âThe goals are simple; we want to top the medal table and CGA has been great in providing funding and developing a plan together, which is driving the innovation around cycling.â
Two-time Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Conor Leahy said the performance upgrades are creating belief as the team builds towards Glasgow 2026.
âAs an athlete, when you get these upgrades, it feels like a kid on Christmas,â Leahy said.
âHopefully itâs the right recipe to getting gold.â
The Green2Gold2Great Investment Program was established to strengthen high-performance pathways, enhance athlete development and deliver sustained podium success.
CGA has committed up to $11.4 million this quadrennium, and more than $67 million since 1996, providing strategic support that accelerates performance and helps Australian athletes succeed on the Commonwealth stage.
This documentary series celebrates the athletes who dream big, the sports that elevate each other, and the community that stands behind them.
It also forms part of the broader support proudly enabled by AAMI, Official Partner of the Australian Commonwealth Games Team, whose contribution helps strengthen Australiaâs high-performance landscape.
The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games will take place from 23 July to 2 August 2026.
The Pursuit of Unstoppable can be found in the Commonwealth Games section of 7plus.
Itâs been announced on Facebook this morning that Ariarne Titmus will join Sevenâs coverage of the Commonwealth Games, reporting poolside.
Ariarne Titmus dives into Glasgow 2026
Olympic champion to bring unrivalled poolside access on Seven and 7plus Sport
As the nation counts down to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, the Seven Network today announced one of Australiaâs greatest ever swimmers, Ariarne Titmus, will join its stellar on-air team for the Games, broadcast live, free and exclusively on Seven and 7plus Sport from Friday, 24 July, to Monday, 3 August.
Fresh from a glittering career in the pool that captivated the nation, Titmus will bring her unmatched insight, experience and athlete-first perspective to Sevenâs coverage as the networkâs swimming mixed zone reporter, where she will speak directly with our golden swimmers, moments after they leave the water.

Titmus said: âIâm really excited to be joining Seven for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. Swimming has given me so much, and Iâm looking forward to being part of our Australian teamâs journey, in a slightly different way this time around.
âDuring my career, I had so much respect for the mixed zone reporters that we regularly met with post-race, including Nathan Templeton, Giaan Rooney and so many more. To have the opportunity to follow in their footsteps for such an important international event is very exciting.
âThe Commonwealth Games mean so much to the athletes competing and I cannot wait to be on deck to deliver more incredible historic moments from the pool, live and free on Seven and 7plus Sport,â she said.
As part of Sevenâs comprehensive coverage, Titmus will also lead key behind-the-scenes athlete interviews to be broadcast throughout the Games coverage, sitting down with many of her former Australian swimming team teammates.
Sevenâs Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games team continues to build, with further announcements on the hosting line-up and expert commentary team to be revealed soon.

Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games Live and free from Friday, 24 July, on Seven and 7plus Sport
Thatâs a good get by 7. Sheâs been good with 9 for their swimming events
Wonder if Dad and daughter will commentate together?
Sunrise chat with Ariarne Titmus
Wonder if Titmus is just doing Sevenâs Comm Games and if sheâs still at Nine as well, perhaps they were able to come to some agreement?
As her and a couple of others, Jessica Fox was one, were appearing across several of wwosâ events and I thought theyâd âsignedâ with the network. Unless Titmusâ was only for a year or two, already expired and the two parties didnât renew. Either way, handy for Seven Sport.
Obviously her father is also at the company.
A promo aired tonight 7.24pm AEST seen on 7Flix for the Games
Could it be the promo you are talking about?
That was the promo, yes
Pretty budget underwhelming promo. Made in-front of the classic âletâs use the giant screenâ setup
Time for some new promo producers I think.

Baker Boy delivers an exclusive anthem to fuel the Commonwealth Games

Fronted by Australiaâs most revered sport broadcaster, Bruce McAvaney, the promo brings together a powerhouse line-up of Australian sporting talent, including Olympic and Commonwealth Games champion and Glasgow 2026 swimming mixed zone reporter, Ariarne Titmus, alongside Sunrise host and Commonwealth Games medallist Matt Shirvington.
The campaign also features a host of Australiaâs leading athletes bound for Glasgow, including Jessica Hull, Peter Bol, Kyle Chalmers, Nina Kennedy and Col Pearse, and many more.
Blending powerful archival moments with a spotlight on the next generation of stars, the promo celebrates Australiaâs rich Commonwealth Games legacy while building anticipation for Glasgow 2026, all set to a hype-track that will have everyone up on their feet and ready for the Games.
Published by Universal Music Publishing and released on Island Records/Universal Music Australia, Letâs Go is co-written by Baker Boy and DNA aka David Musumeci and Anthony Egizii. Letâs Go is available to listen and stream here.
A six-time ARIA Award winner, Baker Boy said: âIâve never written a song specifically for a campaign before, so this was a new and really fun experience for me. I tapped into the idea of songs that pump me up before I jump on stage and wanted to create something that would give all the athletes that same level of energy before their events. Itâs all about the journey, the underdog and taking out the gold, while brushing off the competition along the way.â
