9News Late
Good to see it wasn’t Michael Usher and Angela Cox. They deserve a well earned rest.

Did they really need to bring the late news forward? Surely regular programming could stay as is, with the earlier and extended news bulletins on the multi channel for those who wish to go over and be saturated with it?

I think it was normal programming since 9 Late News was on the EPG. Plus it was still breaking news coming in @Troiboi

I feel like they’re just angry after following events over the weekend. Which is the truth, but it was disgraceful to see these kind of events right now. The bystanders should’ve help the police get the guy and put him in the cell and that’s it. They don’t need to create such chaos tonight. @David

It wasn’t for Melbourne. Footy Classified was meant to start at 9.45pm.
Ben fordham was the first to break the news on 2GB to Deb Knight

Very brief mention about this on the ABC’s report, which was a RVO from presenter. Now onto rest of the days news.

They have an agreement IIRC to use Nine reporters and content.
Yeah, I know. They really dragged it out. a lot of what they’re showing is replays now. They do have a reporter there with a camera but I’m not sure whether they are still doing live crosses.
