Is Seven News Cairns providing at-lease some coverage (or is that shelved over Christmas along with the NSW/WA bulletins?)
Aha, Seven does care for their regional markets in this day & age
Are there bulletins in other Queensland regions at the moment or just for Cairns?
Not Newcastle…
Regional bulletins are back in QLD.
or Canberra… or the entire of VIC, Spencer Gulf. Central AU.. and Darwin
Canberra gets 7NEWS Sydney, Entire of VIC gets only noodle updates with the Melbourne bulletin, Spencer Gulf has no bulletin (after SCA axed it) with an entire normal feed of 7two, and Central AU only gets noodle & weather updates (which still use the SCA graphics last time it was discussed).. Darwin in the same boat as Central AU.. just with the actual 7NEWS graphics
Can you watch the Darwin bulletins anywhere?
Nope - not on 7Plus
Not even a bulletin, just noodle updates
Are these Darwin bulletins in the room with us? ![]()
Darwin.
Haha. Thanks. I obviously meant online. But that made me lol.
Potential big breaking story coming out of Caracas
It is, in fact, a big breaking story now. Explosions are from US military action.
Sky UK and BBC has been on it for about half an hour. CNN was close to that.
NBC and CBS just now breaking into network. ABC US nothing. ABC with a breaking ticker.
MS NOW deems this story big enough they are handling it on their own.
7NEWS mentioned it in Sydney 20 minutes ago
As if the start to 2026 couldn’t get any worse
First a Switzerland Fire Tragedy, An earthquake in Mexico, Many lives lost on Australian Beaches.. and now explosions in Venuisaula….
So good to have NBC News Now as a channel on Foxtel now. Makes it easy to switch too. They’re in special report mode
Reckon it’s big enough for CNN to call in Wolf or Jake or Anderson?
If they were to do that, it will be Sunday night or Monday afternoon in Australia. Their normal downtime is like, what, noon-7pm AEDT Sun/Mon?
Or one of those names will be there.
For whatever reason, NBC switches from live feed of Caracas to that of Telemundo special report. Note that it’s video only, audio remains English.
