Yes. It’s a gripping story that has captured the attention of millions spanning the last 40 years. There were plenty of updates to provide throughout the day, especially once the Judge started mid-morning. There may not be another Australian story to match the gravity of it this year.
Seven and Nine did a solid job. ABC held back until the verdict was through - probably being legally conscious.

IMO SBS led the way in coverage with their Asia correspondent Aaron Fernandes on the ground in Pakistan.

Lions escape their enclosure at Taronga.
Ironically the next episode of Taronga Who’s Who In The Zoo features this lion enclosure (11 Nov) - surprised Nine haven’t pulled up that footage to show.
Update: Now reported that lions back in exhibit.

Seven ran a news update. The info wasn’t a lot more than was reported in the 6pm news. They are the only ones with vision from the area.
